We are planning on going to Siesta Key (south of tampa) for two weeks 12/2005 and are planning on buying Busch gardens fun passes (unlimited visits during 2005, $62/adults $52/kids). We are hoping to visit Busch Gardens 3 or 4 times at least over this two week period.

Our children will be 5 and 8 at time of visit and are pretty adventurous (they rode as many rides as they were able (height restrictions) at MK and AK 12/2004).

Can you please tell us anything you can about Busch gardens that will make our trip more enjoyable???
Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I haven't been there in about 20 years.
Thanks,
Suzy
I am also going to post this on the Orlando hotel and attractions board.

Honestly?
DH and I thought the park was terrible! At first I thought it was because I had high expectations since we have BG Williamsburg a few miles down the road from us, and that is a truly beautiful park! DH and I were surprised. We did the safari tour (had pics taken with us petting giraffes) but that was the highlight.
It was dirty and seemed run-down :confused3 I dunno, but we will not be going back!

:wave2: Hi!
Just to prove that everyone's taste is different, we LOVED Busch Gardens! When we were there (June, 2003), everything seemed very fresh and clean to us and I'm pretty picky about those kind of things :flower:

We enjoyed the bird and animal exhibits, Kumba, Gwazi, and Montu (3 awesome coasters!), and the water rides. We are all animal lovers so maybe that was a plus for us. Living on a farm, we are used to animal smells and messes so maybe we don't notice some things that might bother others.

I will admit that it was not as sparkling clean as most of the Disney property, but I found the restrooms and food service areas to be exceptionally clean. We had the best "fast food" meal we've ever had in a theme park at the Stanleyville Smokehouse.

If you are into coasters, this is definitely the place to be in Florida. But we felt there was lots for everyone to do here. DH and DS do not do coasters, and they were always able to keep themselves entertained while the others rode. :goodvibes

Just wanted to let you know of our experience. Hope I've helped.
