Hi!

I am looking to try some different restaurants on this trip. I have read many nice things about Boma and the breakfast that they serve. How is the food? Can you see the savannah from the restaurant? Can you request a table with a savannah view?

How about dinner? What is the food like?

If anyone has pics they could post of the restaurant or the food, I would love to see it!

Thanks and I am looking forward to reading what you have to say:thumbsup2

I'm picky and I love the food at both breakfast and dinner-- I have ADRs for both next week in fact!

The breakfast has a huge variety- I like the omelet station the best.

Dinner is also very good-- the salads and soups are awesome.

You can't see the Savannah at all so don't request that. I've sat right next to the windows and really it's just plants/landscaping and a walkway so it really doesn't matter where you sit in the restaurant.

Boma doesn't have a view of the savannas, but you can view the savannas by going through the doors at the back of the lobby, or by the side lounge near the check in desk, or actually going down the long hallways and peeking through the window gaps! Plenty of places to view the animals.

Breakfast is fantastic. Besides the press pot coffee (yum!) and their juice blend "Frunch" (not to be missed), you get a really extensive buffet that would appeal to just about everyone. You get the basic standard American breakfast goods, but also some interesting items, too.

I like dinner at Boma because they have a station devoted just to soup. :lovestruc Heheh, but other than that, they also have a wide variety of items to try. They have lavosh breads with hummus, different salads, a carving station, usually a chicken and/or fish dish, and a kids area that offers the standard chicken nuggets and mac 'n cheese. The buffet also offers a wide variety of desserts.

I wouldn't say no to either meal at Boma.

Love the dinner and we never miss it. I think my wife would revolt if I even suggested it. :rotfl2:

We never eat a big breakfast so we have never tried Boma for breakfast.
