Please tear apart my itinerary! Any improvements would be great!

It was mentioned above to send a runner over to DL to get FP’s while you stay in DCA... the tickets have to be scanned in to the park you want a FP in, so that won’t work. I know that works on maxpass but to use an actual ticket I believe it has to be scanned into that specific park. Or at least it worked that way the one time we tried it.

Also, sending a runner in to the other park at opening is not a quick thing, the lines at the gate will be long. Loooong. I would not attempt it, but I’m not a fan of sending a runner anywhere, I’d rather enjoy the time as a family than having my husband or myself missing out on stuff so we can run for Fp’s. ESP with littles. But thats me ;-)

This is not true, once you are all scanned into one park you can pull FPs for either park - we have done this - all of us into DL and I, alone, went over the DCA with all the tickets and pulled RSR FPs.

That must have changed just recently with the addition of MaxPass, it’s been that long since we were with someone who tried it, or asked. Like I said, I’m not a fan of the runner thing, not how I want to spend my time there.

Actually we have not been to the parks since MaxPass - this was back in 2016 and 2014 before that where we were able to do this. MaxPass removes the need for a runner now though which is nice.

Nope. Not new. You only ever had to be scanned into one of the parks to pull a FP for either one even before MP. I did this all the time especially when we could still double dip on FPs before they connected the systems to only one at a time before the next window.

Wow, thanks everyone!!!! I so appreciate all of your comments and I really enjoyed reading through them. Agree, don't want to over plan, but do want to make a few table reso so wanted some general thoughts. Thank you so much!!!
