interested in learning which countries offer them and where specifically they are located and their cost. Dear hubby and I will be arriving Monday

I am interested in knowing about this also..... anyone?????????????????

We did the wine walk last May. It cost $20 and consisted of 2 pours in Italy, France, and Germany. I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, or if you are looking for something else, but it was a fun little thing to do.

That sounds like fun, do you get a card, how does it work?

I would like to know more about this as well. I love trying new wines and this sounds like a great way to do so!

thanks for the link!
Question, though, is it a "Sample" or a glass?Anyone have a photo??

In the link that was provided if you take a good look at the passport it says 6 2ounce glasses, so thats a sample. Have to say that isn't a bad price for wine tasting.

If you do enough of them, you fly back to your hotel room.

As and example, Germany WIne Flight:
German Riesling Wine Flight, three pours, 3 oz. each $12.50.
Three QmP Rieslings at increasing levels of sweetness Kabinett, Spatlese, Auslese.

 All the years we've gone to Epcot and NEVER heard of such a thing. Who knew?

The link posted from a pp was written in October '09 and it mentions it may just be an 'autumnal' thing....sure hope its year round....we'll be there in less than a month and my DH would LOVE to do this!

Anyone going within the next week or so that can check it out and report back to us about it? :flower3:

Some comments on the post say that it's year-round -- people have experience doing it in other seasons. :thumbsup2

I've never heard of it either. I can't wait to try it in March! Thanks for the info.

Here's a few pics from last May:

Germany - Valckenberg Madonna Spatlese and Valckenberg Madonna Liebfraumilch (and a pickle!)

Italy - Castello Banfi San Angelo Pinot Grigio and Banfi Rosa Regale

France - Georges Duboeuf Pouilly Fuisse and Chateau Tour de Segur (and patisserie snacks!)

We were there last week and asked about it in Italy. We ended up not doing it, but that was for other reasons. Anyway, the girl in Italy told us that it is 6 2oz pours which consists of 2 different wines in Germany, France, and Italy. This is consistent with everything above. What she added was that the passport does not expire, so she said if we didn't want 6 wines in one day we could bring it back throughout our vacation. We decided to wait until our June trip so we can spread them out. Of course, I would ask another CM to make sure that information is correct, but that made me happy. :goodvibes

::yes::Yep, that info is correct. We purchased two passports, but had already had a few drinks in other countries throughout the WS so we decided to share one set and have the rest on another day. This is reflected in my above pictures where we got all four glasses in Germany, but only one set at a time in Italy and France.

Nobody hassled us (or even made mention at all) about spreading out our wine walk over subsequent days. Enjoy!

THANKS for that info! That's very good to know! :thumbsup2
