Please suggest the closest Beach to Orlando for our November Trip.

We will be arriving in Orlando arround 1pm and would like to drive to the Ocean after checking into our hotel. (2 kids with us have never seen the Ocean.) Any suggestions on close, yet fun beach areas?
Is the beginning of November too cold to swim? If so, are there other fun things to do on the shore that will entertain 2 9 year olds and an 8 year old?
If the Ocean is too far away, please suggest a fun thing to do for half the day. Thanks alot!!!!

Hello,

Cocoa Beach is about 40 minutes from WDW. We drove there half-way through our vacation last summer for a break. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is right there, as well as the Kennedy Space Center. It's a nice beach, and easy to get to!

Just take the 528 (Bee Line or if they approve Beach Line) I think the tolls may be around $5.00 each way.
