Please suggest a new Disney experience for us

The behind the scenes tours might be cool. Where does one find out about those. I'd love to see some of these mysterious tunnels under the parks. Can you do any of these things on a "non parks day" or do you have to pay the admission to the park plus the cost of the tour?

Also, any word on the refurbed Fantasia?

Keys to the Kingdom tour takes you to the utilidors/tunnels but you do need park admission. The tour can take up to 5 hours depending on the guide and the interests of the group.

Fantasia Gardens was refurbed recently. Wdwmagic.com had the announcement.

Your kids are actually too young for Keys to the Kingdom...the minimum age is 16.

If your kids like fishing, I would highly recommend that one as well. I haven't gone myself, by my husband and in-laws have gone, one time with my son at age 8 and another time last January with my son (9) and daughter (10) and they LOVED it! Both times my family had a great time and the kids loved it. My in-laws can't wait to do it again.

My oldest son and I rented the water mice to tool around for a while, which he enjoyed.

We have yet to try DisneyQuest but it's on our list for this upcoming trip hopefully, since our annual passes include access to it. My kids (14,12,10) love video games so I'm sure it will be a hit.

We have also done the Family Magic Tour. It was several years ago but your kids might enjoy that. It's cute and fun but doesn't give you the in-depth backstage stuff like the other tour, which as somebody mentioned your kids are not old enough for yet. We did that one as adults and loved it though.

As many Disney trips as we have taken, we always find some new experiences to try. I'd love to do the Wild Africa Trek with my group...but that price for five of us is what I can't quite handle right now!
