Hey guys,
How are y'all doing? I can't wait to see everyone at W&D next week
Anyways, I have been considering doing the Space Coast full for almost a year now. It is a race a really want to do and because I am hoping to transfer to a college out of state next year, this year is probably my only viable option any time soon. But I have been back and forth about if for several reasons, first, I didn't know if it was too close to Goofy to be sane, but I spoke to you guys about it and thought it through and I think that it is a manageable feat. Second, I couldn't afford it - after signing up for Goofy and W&D my budget was pretty much shot - but then I just found out I got another scholarship from my school
(I knew I had one, but this one was a surprise!), so I could probably afford to sneak it in cost wise now. However, my race team who usually travels with me AKA my family
won't be able to come with me for this race, meaning I will have to drive back across the state for 3 hours after running the full - I have driven back from Orlando (about 2) after a 1/2 many times before, but never after a full and never that far - is this doable?
Please can you tell me if this race is worth all this mental distress
or give me any advice on whether I should just go for it, or forget about it!
Thanks
Kirsty
PS I am actually already in training for this race - kind of - I am running on a timeline that fits in with doing a full in Nov, but if I change my mind I can scale it back so I will just be ready for Goofy instead.
