Our first day will be this Thursday at DL. We don't have EMH/MM, so we plan to be there at 8:00am rope drop. Traditionally we start with Peter Pan, but I'm afraid lines will be 30min+ by the time we're there. What are your ride strategies if you can't do EMH/MM?

Head straight to the ROA area for a level playing field in fast pass distribution. Folks already in the park will be positioning for Tomorrowland distribution once the gates opens as Fastpas begin at gate opening. . Best to do tomorrowland FP when everyone has an equal opportunity on Friday . do they have rope drop for non-MM tickets or do you stand in line at the gate? Forget Peter Pan for thursday, try on Friday morning.

Peter will have substantial lines, no benefit to going there first. The line will remain the same pretty much all day, so you might as well go on that later when the lines for other rides are long. But really, with an 8am opening, any other ride will have short lines. Space is probably the one exception, but even that will be lighter than later in the day. Grab a FP for whatever ride you want and head to anything else you want to ride. My strategy is usually to grab an Indy FP and head to BTMRR and ride it a couple times before there is a line. Or sometimes we go to Fantasyland and ride everything except for Peter.
