noww i know what i'll look like at WDW. i wonder how many others will dress like this. might make for good pics!!!!

I'm a halloween freak, and my friend loves to dress up in costumes, so we pretty much loved it. Imagine the disney atmosphere, only 100 times more magical because EVERYBODY is dressed up. It's amazing. We had children ask to get their photos with us, there were photo ops set up all over, candy was handed out, characters who rarely show face were out--you're going to love it.

As for crowds, it's a little more crowded than Very Merry Christmas Party, but a lot less crowded than your typical day at the Magic Kingdom. Aside from Peter Pan, I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for any ride, and most of that was spent walking up and down the long empty queue lines.

You sound just like me! I went to the Pirate & Princess Party in March and when I give a review on it I'll always mention that all the rides had posted wait times of 5 minutes and that the queues were completely empty. It just took you that long to walk through the really long [empty] queues to get to the loading dock.
:rotfl:
But, thanks for sharing your experience [and pictures] with us! Sounds like fun!

When we were there there were so many adults dressed up, the picture you get for free that night has a halloween background and ours came out well.

DW and I are bringing our 4 year oldpirate: in Sept. and the party is offered the first night that we are there:cool1: . We are debating on going or not:confused3 . Halloween is probably our favorite holiday of the year and who knows if we'll ever be there again during the celebration. My questions are:
1. Do you have to have admission to the park to go?
2. How much are the tickets to go?

Thanks!!!

It is definately worth it. We have been to MVMCP also but we love MNSSHP more. You do not need admission your ticket is your admission. The prices are listed on the first posts of the official threads.
I believe they are around $33 per child and $40 per adult. You can get into the park at 4pm on your party ticket. If you have a long day of travel I would suggest not doing it the first day you arrive, so you can enjoy the party the entire time. Do not miss the parade...loved it. You can book priority seating at Tony's or LTT for the night of the party. I suggest if you do so try and get the earliest seating ie 5pm. If not we just usually go to cosmic ray's or another CS. Have fun!

We went last year for the first time and just got tickets to go this year. Looking at everyon'e pics is getting me so hyped up! I need to find cooler costumes though. It's hot when we go( usually late September)

I can't believe nobody has posted a pic of the gravediggers in the parade. They were by far the best part of the parade, besides Capt. Jack! I've been the past 2 years and loved it!!! We're going in Dec this year, so I'm gonna miss going this year. I hope everyone who's going this year has a great time. Some of these posts have great pics! My camera sucks!!! :)

I HAVE TO KNOW!!! WHERE ARE YOU STANDING FOR THIS PHOTO??

We're on the train platform on main street :) We waited until the fireworks were done, then when everyone cleared out we went up to grab seats .. we sat and relaxed for an hour but then got the BEST view of the parade!

Here is my one picture of them. I was so busy watching them I almost forgot to take a picture. They were real good. The red glow marks on the pavement are the sparks from the shovels.

This isn't from WDW, but these are the costumes we wore at the MNSSHP in 2005 (except my eldest DS - he was dressed as a pirate there, too!). Sorry, I don't know how to make the picture any larger...
