It rained for much of the evening while we are at MNSSHP. I didn't get any parade pictures at all, but I did get some good pictures of my kids in costumes at various locations in the park. The parade was fun, and I enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures of it!

We are so excited to get to MNSSHP this Oct. My DS6 is going to be Capn Jack. I'm trying to decide if I want to dress up or not. I know my FDH and FILs won't but I'm toying with the idea of being Elizabeth Swann.

Hi! tell your DD that I love that smiley too, but I really don't like doing laundry. I just think it's cute!

Snow White and the 7 dwarfs seem to be out every MNSSHP now. We were walking in FantasyLand past the Winnie the Pooh ride and they came out a side door right in front of us! We were so excited and the CM character attendant asked us to follow in a line behind the drawfs. They walked through FantasyLand in a mini parade then went to their meet and greet spot. It's between the Winnie ride and the Carousel. There are no autographs or photopass, but you or a CM can take a photo.

Thanks so much! The hitchhiker is a special effect that the photo center will add to your picture the night of MNSSHP. I read about it on these boards so I new all about it. It's another hidden gem that I learned from The DIS!

Our #1 goal is to meet some villains, and our #2 goal is to have a good seat for the parade, but getting to see all seven dwarves is not far behind, at least for me! I think that would be a hoot! Hope the line isn't oppressively long.

I have a question for all of those who have gone during the September parties. We were there 2 years ago, but never went to the party. The only decoration we ever saw were the mickey pumpkins at the enterance. Are we gonna be jilted on stuff by going in September, since its not really Halloween time? When will they get the decorations out for the party? Thanks!

I went this past September and was pleasantly surprised at how MK was magically transformed and so quickly! It was my first MNSSHP and really did not know what to expect. But I will say I was very pleased at how Halloweenish it all came to be in such a short amount of time.

We went in September last year and they had plenty of decorations everywhere. There weren't many up during the day but by time for the party the place was very festive. We really enjoyed it.
