We have 8:10am BOG reservations on 2 days when the park opens at 9:00. I was wondering if the early ADR is worth it?

The pros I see are, and correct me if I'm wrong:
1) we can avoid waiting in line outside the park as early as 8:15, and instead arrive at 7:45 and walk in soon after.
2) we get some "empty" Main Street photos.
3) we can in some lines early for Merida and Tiana.

If we can get a short line for rides like 7DMT and Peter Pan, that would be awesome, but we should hopefully have enough Fast Passes over our 4 day trip to go on those rides more than once.

The only negative I see is it's an expensive breakfast, especially if we are doing it twice.

We had an 8:10 AM at BOG on our Dec trip.

We ended up leaving DH's electric scooter at the villa as he was not comfortable taking it on the bus and we could not drive our own vehicle and get to the park entrance before opening. Our adult children drove it over to us later in the day.

We left OKW on a special early bus to MK. We then waited in at least 3 lines before being allowed on to Main Street. The first line formed as soon as we exited the bus and headed under the monorail by security. That line did get moved when security showed up and picked a different table to do bag check. In the 2nd line our bands were scanned and our ADR was checked. The 3rd line formed right before the arches under the train and we were held there for a while and then allowed to move forward about 100 feet and then held back again until a few minutes before 8 AM.

We had trouble with the DAS on my band and when I tried to get a return time, it would not work so we gave up and proceeded to breakfast.

We tried to get a few empty park pics along the way but there were a lot of people already ahead of us. Or maybe they were just able to walk a lot faster than us. LOL!

Breakfast was very nice, we enjoyed it. We shared 2 meals between the 3 of us and felt full.

After breakfast I tired for 1 1/2 hours to get my band working. Our poor 5 year old granddaughter was heartbroken since she got to ride nothing and had to sit with her grandpa while I wandered from FP+ kiosks to GR desks trying to fix my MB. Again we gave up and eventually met up with the rest of our family.

We felt we would do the breakfast again but hubby really did dislike standing in so many lines.

BOG breakfast you could share plates to reduce cost, depending on what other meals you have planned for the day. Being QS and no characters you should be out rather quickly.

We had a 8:30 ADR for Crystal Palace on our December trip. They let everyone in the gates at 7:50 and we were actually seated by 8:05. We didn't really get a jump on crowds as much as I'd hoped but having FP+ for A&E, 7DMT and PP we didn't feel as rushed for time.

We did get empty park shots, which were great. We also went as close as possible to the castle to the last photo pass photographer to get pictures in front of the castle with no one else. (Right in front of the Walt & Mickey statue.)

We met Tiana and Merida 2 different afternoons. The line for Merida was longer (30-45 minutes) but was manageable with the kid activities nearby. Tiana we were able to catch at the beginning of her line after her afternoon break and it was about a 10 minute wait.

We had the same ressies and loved them! Great park photos and we loved the food. We left BOG after we ate before rope drop and lined up by a CM who led us right onto 7DMT. Of course, this is mot guaranteed. We also got on several other things rather quickly because we were already in Fantasyland. Be advised, depending on when you go, hours can change. I had 2 early ADRs planned but then the park changed hours to 8am on one of those mornings. Still worth it for us.

Back in October, we had an 8:10a ADR for BOG. If I remember correctly, we got in to the park around 7:45a. We took our time, took a few pictures and made our way to BOG. We were seated about 5-10 minutes after checking in (we pre ordered the food) and the food came around 5 minutes after we sat. We were out of BOG by 8:50a, and there were no ropes or CM's stopping us from going anywhere. As we were walking by 7DMT, the CM's invited us in and we walked through the FP line right on. But, by the time we had gotten off, the line was back to Mad Tea Party. I have heard stories of people being held back from leaving BOG area, but that did not happen to us.
