Best: 1900 Parke Fair breakfast, great good and good character interaction, and lowest price breakfast we've had so far

Yachtmans - just good all around, good service and good food.

Worst: Hollywood and Vine breakfast, baaad food but we will be back for its redeeming quality, best character interaction we've had out of all our trips!

Citricos - food was just okay, but service was horrid. We were there for over 4 hrs for dinner. He was a nice enough server, but SLOOOOOWW as molasses. I cant believe my 10 yo and 2 yo were able to sit there that long without throwing fits. Will never go back. Since they counted my 2 yo as the 6th party member, he got an automatic tip. Well the tip was reversed.

Sci-Fi - ok food and service, but just too dang dark! Not good when you're supervising your 2 yo eating.

Just ok signature places: Coral Reef, not impressed at all. Sat right next to the aquarium, but soo not worth the credits. Same with Brown Derby. I really don't understand what the fuss is all about. Not worth the credits.

Edit: We did try T-Rex this last trip. Not sure we will be back at all. My son loved it, but then hes a dino freak. Food not great at all. I had the chicken and ribs combo. Ughh, Im probably biased when its comes to ribs or BBQ since Im originally from Memphis, but they were almost the worst ribs I ever had. My hubby had the filet and said it was the only thing on his plate worth eating. To top it off, we sat in the ice room. NEVER again. If we do return there, I will refuse to sit in that room.

Worst:
Chef Mickey's---So not worth the money just to see characters. Food YUCK
Wolf Gang Puck Cafe---Super cold mashed potatoes with tasteless chicken.
Sci Fi---Food was horrible (we did enjoy the atmosphere)

Best:
Le Cellier---So Yummy! I had the best steak ever and the soup was to die for.
Kona---Breakfast or Dinner you can't go wrong! Excellent!! A+++
Mama Melrose---A surprise! I was so nervous when we made ressies for the first time here. I have heard so many negative reviews. It was super and one of our favorites every trip.

I would say I have been to about 50% of TS restaurants in WDW... that being said:

Best:

Biergarten - I love buffets and this one was different than most. I can eat brats all day and with different condiments it made this place awesome to me... it's doesn't hurt having huge beer stiens to drink from. The music and atmosphere is outstanding!

Worst:

Dunno - I always make the best out of WDW and dinners have always been wonderful. Sure sometimes the food hasn't been outstanding but nothing I've ever eaten at WDW has stood out to make me dislike the place. There is only one QS restaurant I think of when I think of a yucky meal in WDW and that was in Tangerine Cafe. I can't think of a TS restaurant I didn't like.

This is a great thread, I'm happy to be able to share my experiences and read about others!

I'll start with the "avoids".
* La Cantina de San Angel. They're trying to be innovative, but I wasn't impressed with the food choices.
* Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre. This used to be my absolute favorite for the quality of the food. They changed the menu in 2011 to be mostly sandwiches, and the one that I had was cold and disgusting. One of my favorite places, down the drain.
* 1900 Park Fare. Great place for seeing characters, but the food is not that great and this is a favorite of the little kids after a day in the Magic Kingdom. Understand what I'm saying?
* Cap'n Jacks. Pedestrian, at best.
* Les Chefs de France. As noted in other posts, it is crowded and loud, as well as being rather pricey. Food quality is not bad, but the better bet is to go upstairs to Bistro de Paris.
* The Plaza Restaurant. Just .... don't. Horrible service, counter-service food quality.
* The Garden Grill. Another of my former favorites, tainted by more recent bad experiences. Good for seeing characters, but you'll probably see them 2 or 3 times because the service is so slow.
* Restaurantosaurus. McDonald's foray into the Animal Kingdom park is extremely overcrowded and unenjoyable, and that is being kind.

Now for some "must-dos".
* 50's Prime Time. The food is really good, and a good sense of humor will go a long ways with the wait staff schtick. Definitely try the meat loaf. It's so good, we got the recipe book and make this at home regularly.
* Jiko, at Animal Kingdom. Hands down, some of the best food I've had at WDW. And the experience is as good as the food. Attentive wait staff.
* Le Cellier. I saw that some did not have a good experience here or there, but my experiences have always been wonderful.
* The Wave at the Contemporary Resort. Fun, vibrant atmosphere and excellent food, and I've never had any problems getting a table whenever I wanted.
* Olivia's at Old Key West. Phenomenal food and drink in this cozy little resort restaurant. If you like adult beverages, you owe it to yourself to try the "Turtle Crawl".
* Tutto Italia. Always great Italian food, always a great experience.
* Bistro de Paris. Skip Le Chefs de France, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. This place is awesome and, if you have a window seat and late ressie, it's a fantastic view of IllumiNations.

Can't wait to go again!!

Best - San Angel Inn, love the food and atmosphere. Raglan Road, great food and beer, and the best live entertainment on the property.

Worst - haven't had a worst. I've enjoyed every meal I've eaten at Disney.

ITA with Olivias! However, I did find a new favorite drink there this year - The Sultry Seahorse! We ended up going to the liquor store to buy the liquor, we wouldve spent wayyy too much at the Gurgling Suitcase for the 9 remaining days of our stay!

The Worst:

The food was horrible! Cold, overcooked and the mac n cheese was more like mac n cheese SOUP!! there were some cold cuts but no real German mustard...just that disgusting yellow(French's) type.

The Best:
LeCellier
Everytime we go there the food is cooked the way it should...the steak is always juicy, never tough or fatty.

O'hana:
I know some say the meat is way dry but we didn't get any dry meat. Last year we had 3 ADR's there and everytime the food was good.

It should be noted that this restaurant is no longer affiliated with McDonalds. They now serve standard Disney counter service fare.

Isn't it amazing how one's list of "terrible" or "worst food I've ever tasted" is another's these are the "best" or "most wonderful" places we went to and will definitely go again That's what keeps all the restaurants going and makes life interesting. We all have such varied tastes and ideas of how things should be handled. Life would be so boring if we all like the same things, eh? We love most of the places we've been, but maybe it's the "pixie dust" we're surrounded with that makes us enjoy them so much! Whatever

Worst:

Biergarten: liked the atmosphere and service, but food was just bland and flavorless.
Fulton's: just not good. Red Lobster is a step up imho.
Kona Cafe: this was a surprise as we had heard wonderful things. Food was inedible. Had to send back steak that I couldn't cut -- it looked like shoe leather. Forgot the tapenade for dh's fish. Service was sllooww and we had ADR at 5pm when they opened. Just an off night, quite possible. But we won't return.

Best:
Cinderella's Royal Table- we fully expected to hate every minute but the food was good, our server was great and we had a fantastic window seat with a view over Fantasyland.

Ohana's & Whispering Canyon Cafe- two family favourites that we keep going back to for the food and atmosphere.

Worst:
Mama Melrose's- Late being seated, sloppy service and average food. We appreciate we probably hit it on an off day but we won't be going back soon.

Hollywood & Vine- Our ADR was in the middle of a storm and unfortunately everyone took shelter inside the restaurant which made it very crowded and loud. We only saw our waitress once during the entire meal and the buffet was nothing outstanding. Again just a bad experience but it's not making our list for the forthcoming trip.

BEST:
Hoop De Doo- We went on our first trip six years ago and our DD still talks about it. We haven't been back since the Tier 1 went off of the DDP. However, we are surprising DD by going there for her birthday next month. We will be Tier 2, but I'm sure we'll still love it.

Narcoossee's- I'm sure that it isn't the best lobster in the world, but for this landlocked Oklahoma girl, the Surf & Turf is wonderful. Also, the almond cheesecake is fantastic!

Other favorites include Captain's Grille (only went once, but the food was great), Turf Club (have been a couple of times- it is wonderful!), and Les Chefs de France.


WORST:
Biergarten- We didn't care for the food or the environment at all.

Whispering Canyon- The food was just ok. Our server was not into having fun at all. It was disappointing b/c we could see people on the other side of the restaurant having a great time.

Artist's Pointe- Service and food were nowhere how it should have been for a two credit meal.

California Grille- This wasn't the fault of the restaurant. It was our first trip and we had gone too long and too hard. Plus, DD and I were at the beginning stages of getting sick, but didn't know it yet. We were both tired and irritable and it made for a miserable meal.

Worst: San Angel Inn
In 2004, I went to WDW during the first week of January. The winter break crowds were still there for the first half of the trip, which meant there wasn't any chance of a decent wait time at restaurants (I didn't know how important ADRs were). We went on Mission Space and then waited 45 minutes for a table at San Angel Inn. Both of us were a little sick from Mission Space. The person I was with ended up throwing up after we ate. The food was fine, but for the price I felt ripped off (even for a theme park). I would eat there again, but it won't be for a long time.

Best: California Grill
The food was amazing, and we were seated in the quiet little wine room off to the side. Even with our ADR, we had a wait but it let us go outside and check out the view.

Our WORST was by far, hands down...CORAL REEF...horrid food...absolutely HORRID...cold, tasteless, and the staff...HELLO????? We were in there for an extremely Loooong time and for what? YUCK...never again, NEVER!

Our BEST: Flying Fish....was 10 out of 10 on EVERYTHING, food...I had the potato wrapped red snapper and for dessert the Napoleon....was the BEST dinner AND dessert I have EVER had!!! EVER PEOPLE!!!! The staff was wonderful and attentive. The whole family enjoyed that one and still talk about it to this day!!! Will defintely be booking them again!!!!

Also...HDDR was fantastic also...food was great and the atmosphere was just PURE FUN!!!! MUST add...Teppan Edo...food was awesome and my kids loved the entertaining chefs!!

I could have written this word for word. Hilarious btw, snab in the neck. hahaahahahahahaha im telling you, it was by far the worst italian food i've ever had in my life. I'd much rather eat chef boyardee than Tony's again. And Le Cellier, i'd say disappointing (i consider that a level lower than mediocre. LMAO)

Best Experience: Rainforest Cafe (DTD) - Very good on the spot service and great atmosphere.

Worst Experience: Tusker House - Rude Service, rushed characters, obscenely loud. 'nuff said.
