Hi, please share your fave counter service meals or snacks that you can have while at the parks.

Thanks a bunch for sharing :thumbsup2

Pineapple Dole Whip at MK. :thumbsup2 It counts as a snack point.
For CS I would choose...Pinnochio's Villauge Haus. Don't know why but I really like that place.

Have not been yet but it is on my list based on my research on the boards......going to eat at Tangerine Cafe at Epcot. Sounds great and if you go to the links with food.....oh *drool*..........

From experience, Peco's Bills too

Best counter service meal in the Magic Kingdom, in my estimation, can be found at the Columbia Harbor House. Seems to be an overlooked spot with delicious sandwiches, salads and fish n' chips ::yes::

We like Cosmic Rays at MK. You can get a ribs and chicken meal with mashed potatoes. It's really good and it's not a burger and fries! I can't wait to try some new places at EPcot this year. We did the chinese restaurant last time, I think it's called Lotus Blossum. It was good too.

Pecos Bill. I love their burgers and even though it crowded and crazy, I love the atmosphere. It makes me feel like I'm in Disney.

As far as EPCOT, I like the Electric Umbrella for the same reasons. Atmosphere and great burgers. However, I liked it better when they had the fixins bar.

At the MK we like Pinocchio Village Haus. For snacks - when not stuffing our face with popcorn!!! - we like the strawberry swirls at the Enchanted Grove. This year we're trying CHH.

At AK we like Pizzafari. The food is OK but we love the ambiance of the restaurant. This year we're trying the Flame Tree BBQ as well. For snacks we sometimes get the frozen lemonade, but more often than not popcorn magically appears. In large buckets. Strange...

At Epcot we usually hit the Electric Umbrella. Nothing spectacular, basic fare, but enjoyable. For snacks we get the Kaki Gori's at the Japanese pavilion. But that sneaky popcorn has a peculiar way of tapping us on our shoulder :confused3 .

Heathens that we are, we don't eat at MGM but have lunch at the resort.

Counter Services
MK - tie - Pacos Bills & Columbia Harbor House
AK - Flame Tree BarBQ
Ept - Too many!
DHS - Not enough!

Best snack - School Bread @ Norway

CS would have to be Tangierine Cafe in Epcot, Cosmic Rays in MK and WPE and EoS in DTD

Snacks, where do I start? I love the carmel corn in MK and the fresh popcorn anywhere. Also in MK the made to order Toll House Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches from Main Street Bakery and root beer floats with chocolate ice cream from the place by the Stitch ride.

Epcot has the best snacks, love the schoolbread and rice cream from Norway, pretzels and brats from Germany, melon kakigori from Japan, strawberry shortcake from Sunshine Seasons

I love the Flame Tree BBQ at AK. Smoked 1/2 chicken corn muffin and beans $7.99.

Columbia Harbour House! :thumbsup2 at MK
Min & Bill's chocolate shakes at MGM

MK - Casey's dogs with that hot relish
EPCOT - fish and chips in the UK (washed down with a frozen margarita from Mexico)
AK - flame tree (i love the seating areas down the path to the left of this place. watch out for begging ducks!)
MGM - hmmm - that's a hard one....honestly, this place is lacking in counter service and unique snack items IMHO.

My favorite CS is the Tangierine Cafe in Epcot. The lamb wraps are delicious.

And don't miss the Dole Whips at MK.

We just had our first trip last month and loved all the places we tried. I was a bit worried considering all the bad experiences posted here but we had great dining experiences. Here's the counter services we did:
MK-Pecos Bill-loved it!!
AK-Pizzarifari-delsih--not just pizza here!
EPCOT- Electric Umbrella and Sunshine Seasons--loved both-not your typical park food at either one
DHS-We just got food at the stand by Fantasmic--typical park food-hot dogs, pretzels, nachos

Our favorite snack was ice cream--any stand, any flavor :)

We love the Flame Tree at AK, dole whips in MK, and churros in Epcot. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

MK: Columbia Harbour House
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, Boulangerie Patisserie, Cantina de San Angel,
Tangierine Cafe
HS: Backlot Express (chicken panini sandwich was really good)

Thanks a bunch, we decided not to go with the DP and since this is going to be a long trip we decided to go with a strict budget for food. We love Peco Bills (a must on every trip), will try many of the other places mentioned and will definately try Tangerine Cafe at Epcot and Flame Tree at AK.

Thanks a bunch for all the wonderful information :thumbsup2
