It may be a long shot, but I wonder if there's a chance that organizations like Make A Wish, and other nonprofits who work in the interest of special needs children, might be willing to get involved? It's clear that VMK has benefitted children that they are trying to help, and some of these NPOs have an established rapport with Disney.

It's a thought. I don't want to see these kids lose VMK!

i have aspergers and am finding it really hard to come to terms that vmk is closing i know its true but in my mind i hope its not, hopefully the owner of disney online will change his mind

i found this site some time ago i think that your daughter could really find it usefull it was made by someone with aspergers and outlines the day to day problems, gives advice even has its own forum here is the link http://www.aspergernauts.co.uk/ i find it very usefull, and the one who created it got a Princess Diana Memorial Award and was the 10000th person to be awarded it so he got to meet the british mp now primeminister Gordon Brown i will get a mod to put it up with the important links
