My daughter won a major community achievement award and out of 1500 kids nominated, they pick 7 winners. She is one of the 7 winners, and she got to go throw the first pitch at the big stadium ballgame last weekend and got a signed bat/ball and tickets to the game. It was her first ballgame ever and she (and I!) had a blast. One of the 7 finalists gets chosen to win a trip to Disneyland and San Diego. They decide late August/eary Sept who gets it. We haven't had a vacation in 5 yrs, so please say a little prayer that she wins it!!! This is something way out of reach for us, and we couldnt do it unless she wins, so please get that pixie dust going for us! We sure need it!!!! I am so proud of my daughter getting chosen as one of the 7 - its just unbelievable and such a big honour. I was in shock when we got the phone call. I didn't even remember the trip at first - then they mentioned it and it hit me that we might be able to go to Disneyland!!!!
