The Suggested Threads feature that appears on the bottom of pages (for some people ... not all, apparently) will suggest related threads to the one you are currently viewing. This includes any thread regardless of how old it is. THis causes "zombie threads" to show back up on the front page of the forum, especially on the Community Board.
A recent example is a thread from 2005 talking about an issue brought up during John Roberts' confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court. Not only are we not allowed to talk about politics anymore, there is very little context associated with this thread 7 years later.
