I know there are a bunch of reasons for daily fluctuations but, I need to hear them again. It can be sooo frustrating when I wake up to a 2 lb gain, virtually overnight. Thankfully, weigh-in was yesterday.

I'm on WW so, imo, nothing is really off program. I guess, in my mind, the only thing 'cheating' or, off program, would be going over points and flex points for the week, which I've never done in 7+ weeks.

I exercise (WATP) 30 min/2 miles, 4-7 times a week (looking to move up to 3mile/45min soon). I drink all my water, at least 6-8oz glasses each day. It's not TOM and, I'm eating bascially the same things every day. UGH!

I guess I need some kind of morale booster. Sorry to whine. :(

TIA

{{{HUGS}}} Kim. Been there, know how it feels, and it is frustrating.

Our bodies weight constantly fluctuates through out the day and it is based on many different things. It could be because of something you ate (too salty), not enough water, the time of day.....so many things influence what the scale says. As long as you have stayed OP and are keeping up with your exercise you know you are doing everything you can. Hang in there.

Hey Kim - I can't offer any advice. I can only commiserate with you. My scale and I are not on speaking terms right now.......
anyhow, all I can say is this too shall pass.....or at least that's what everyones been telling me!
Hang in there!!!

I joined Weight Watchers a couple of weeks ago. They recently mentioned that eating the same things without any variations can cause you to plateau -- they said it was like not giving your body enough to eat.

Sorry to hear that you are running into a rough patch! I hope it passes quickly.

Seriously? I never heard that before. Gosh, maybe I better start eating something besides chicken and turkey.

Thanks everyone!

That doesn't help me. I had heard that before and I make an effort to change up my menu, at least every couple of days. I also try to have high pt days and low pt days so my body doesn't get used to one certain amount of food. Doesn't help - I gain weight on high pt days but don't lose on my low pt days!!!???
