I just got a call from a co-worker about a part-time dispatcher of ours. He was diagnosed with a very agressive form of cancer, right after Christmas, and doesn't have much longer to live. He does not want to go to hospice and he can't be left alone so they are trying to find enough people to stay with him in his home to give his wife a little bit of relief. Please say a prayer for Dave Gravis. He is a part-time dispatcher for our PD and works full time for the Bath PD. He is such a wonderful person that it saddens me to know his time is short.
