We leave for the Fort in 14 days. I am bringing my dogs so I want to request the 300 loop. What do I have to do? Fax, phone? What is the number or where can I find it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is a form letter that you can use to request a certain loop...I just can't seem to find it. Anywho, if you just want to write your own, make it to the attention of the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground Site Assigner. The fax # is 407-824-3508. This number, as well as any other questions you may have, are found on the FW FAQ sticky. They say that it is a good idea to fax your request about 3 to 5 days out from your arrival date. 300 is the only preferred pet loop left, so as long as you have a preferred pet ressie, that's pretty much the only place they can put you

.... unless it's still closed for rehab when you go, in which case they'll likely either put you in 100 or 200 or bump you up to a premium.

Did you reserve a preferred site? If not, then it will do you no good to request 300.

Did you tell them that you were bringing a pet when you made your reservation? I think you were supposed to.

If you reserved a preferred loop, and noted that you would be bringing a pet, that should pretty much guarantee the 300 loop. It is the only official preferred pet loop.

Even after correcting your reservation, it is a good idea to confirm your request by sending a fax 5 days before you arrive.
