My 80YO parents, still active and healthy, have decided on a spur of the moment trip to WDW. They have not been since the early 90's, and that was a tag-along with the kids and grandkids, so they did not do any planning. They will only stay 2 nights and plan to visit Epcot only. They are leaving tomorrow, but won't arrive in Orlando until Thursday evening. They aren't so handy with the internet, so asked if I could recommend a hotel for them. My experience is mostly with time share condos in the area and Disney resorts. They do not want to stay on-property, and won't care about resort amenities/pools,etc. So basically they need a clean and comfortable room, convenient to Epcot, reasonably priced (under $100), and breakfast included is a plus.
I'm frantically searching, but hoped Disers could provide some recommendations. I'm looking at Holiday Inn Main Gate and Radisson Celebration as frontrunners. Any thoughts?
Thanks so much! They just sprang this on me this morning!

Check on Gaylord Palms Senior Rate. They do have discounts for certain groups (seniors, military, etc) and is a great hotel for all ages, but I think your parents would like it if they are active seniors.

I just checked Gaylord's prices and it's not under $100 for seniors for those dates. Sorry.

Have you ever used bookit.com? They have some of the best deals and we've used them several times without any issues-even when we've had to cancel unexpectedly.

They have an ok deal right now at the Clarion Inn on Palm Parkway for $64/nt for their dates. $89/with breakfast included. We've stayed there a couple times. They are 3.2 miles from Epcot. Check out tripadvisor.com for reviews.

You may also want to try kayak.com because on that site you can refine your search by distance from where you want to be.

Hope they have a great time where ever they decide to stay. :)

Thanks for the recommendations, folks! I've passed some suggestions along, and also tried to explain Fastpass to my dad last night, in case they want to do any attractions - we'll see, but I sure hope they have a good time.
