My husband mentioned today that he wants to purchase a new scale. I thought we had a good one, but it seems to be consistently about 5 pounds off. I think it may have suffered some damage in our move.

We don't need real fancy, just accurate.

I wish I could help you, but I'm on the "Stay off the scale challenge" and got rid of mine! Good luck with your search. You might want to speak to your doctor and see if they recommend a certain type (digital, dial, etc.).

I have a Taylor professional scale that I really like. It's the most accurate scale I've ever owned. I got it at Wal-Mart, I think it was around 30.00 but I don't remember exactly because I've had it for awhile. It's always on par with my doctor's scales.
