We are only staying one night, but I really really really do NOT want a handicapped accessible room for this night.

I've stayed in many DVC resorts by renting points, and I always seem to be assigned to an accessible room. While it's not a huge deal for many, I just want a regular room with a bathtub this time. Also, I always feel guilty for being in a handicapped accessible room (makes me wonder if some poor family needs it and doesn't have it).

So, with that in mind.....I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some room numbers that are NOT handicapped accessible studios.

Thanks!

I can assure you that is not the case. Rooms are always assigned first based upon medical need.

My recommendation would be to ask the DVC member to put a "non-handicapped" request on the reservation. There are many, many rooms that are not handicapped accessible. Also, ask the CM before you leave the desk whether it is a HA room or not. If so, politely ask if there is anything they can do to move you to a non-HA room. This type of criteria falls under the heading of a request, so there are no guarantees. But resorts usually do what is reasonably possible to satisfy guests.
