I would encourage the Podcast group to READ the news articles BEFORE taking the show to LIVE air. :confused3

Not quite sure what the OP is saying. Was one of the news stories inappropriate? Or do you mean they need to practice their delivery to sound smoother? Is it the spontaneity of the reactions? :confused3

I would enjoy the news read in the style of the priest from The Princess Bride. That could then spur the parting phrase to be. . .

You got in the lakes, prepare to die.

Meh. I enjoy the way it is done. So what if John mispronounces everything

Jk.

I echo your sentiments. Some clarification would've helped.

However, I really don't think anything is going to change, no matter what the OP was trying to say. And I, for one, am glad. I love the spontaneity, mistakes and all. This isn't CNN, and I don't want it to be.

Yeah... A perfect show would be kind of boring, wouldn't it?

"Tutus". Need I say more, still one of my favourite moments.

Absolutely! That is one of my all time favorites too. It still makes me laugh.

I have no idea what the OP is on about. Love the show precisely the way it is! Except for one thing, I'd be happy for them to make it even longer! ;)

Oh dear Lord no......that makes for too many funny moments. Even the genius has to make a boo boo now and then.

Then, I would encourage you to CONTRIBUTE the funding for a fully financed pre-production meeting BEFORE making statements like that. :confused3

I'm really confused?:confused3:confused3 Please specify what you are talking about OP... I haven't noticed anything

Exactly! Not sure what the OP is referring to, frankly don't care. I love the podcast....As It Is!

Brings to mind many 'Bawb' pronunciations....Mo Jee Tows, laugh everytime I think of that. Even after all these years.

Believe it or not I do read them before the show. I even write/rewrite sections to make them flow better for the show.

Sometimes I flub up, sometimes I get to a section I thought I would read and just say 'blah, blah, blah' to skip over it, sometimes I mispronounce names and sometimes I choose to skip over the names.

I think I need to sit in front of Final Cut and and make a "Bad Lip Reading" version of the Podcast...
