I would encourage the Podcast group to READ the news articles BEFORE taking the show to LIVE air.

Not quite sure what the OP is saying. Was one of the news stories inappropriate? Or do you mean they need to practice their delivery to sound smoother? Is it the spontaneity of the reactions?![]()
"Tutus". Need I say more, still one of my favourite moments.

I would enjoy the news read in the style of the priest from The Princess Bride. That could then spur the parting phrase to be. . .
You got in the lakes, prepare to die.
Oh dear Lord no......that makes for too many funny moments. Even the genius has to make a boo boo now and then.

Believe it or not I do read them before the show. I even write/rewrite sections to make them flow better for the show.
Sometimes I flub up, sometimes I get to a section I thought I would read and just say 'blah, blah, blah' to skip over it, sometimes I mispronounce names and sometimes I choose to skip over the names.

I think I need to sit in front of Final Cut and and make a "Bad Lip Reading" version of the Podcast...
