Just wanted to bump this up and tell everyone while I won't be a moderator on the Community Board any longer

Let me try....

Basically we are going to hand over a lot more responsiblility to the moderators, creating individual communities.
The moderators will decide, for example, what is off topic for their boards, decide who their fellow moderators will be, help our designer design the board. They will be responsible for the growth of their boards and what they do to help that.

I don't understand why it will be up to the moderators to decide and how is that going to work?

Hm, maybe it's just me, but I'm still confused. What....exactly.....is happening? Will there no longer BE a community board? And, if there IS, will the rules be clearly stated? When will this be happening? What is this going to do, exactly? I don't know why I'm just not getting what you are saying...sorry.
