I'm trying to figure out which walking distance hotels would be good options for us based on having beds comfy enough for my back. The only one I have experience with is Hojo's pillowtop beds which were ok. Please rate for me the beds of hotels you have stayed at based on pillowtops and softness. Thanks!

I stayed at the Tropicana a couple weeks ago. I had previously stayed there like 3 years ago, and the beds were just average. But I guess they remodeled or something because the beds at the Tropicana were pretty nice.

Best Western Park Place Inn has regularish beds.

Kind of a further walk, but both the Hilton and Marriott (particularly Marriott) have very nice comfortable beds. Other than that, no experience.

The Fairfield has the comfortable Marriott beds. We always stay there and I always love the beds. (And I'm very picky with beds).

My new LOVE hotel is the Anabella...LOVED everything about it! When I can't swing the DLH, I stay there!!!!

We love the Carousel beds, Marriotts are second (Fairfield and Residence Inn), then Candy Cane and Hilton. Beds to avoid - Desert Inn and Suites and Tropicana.

The bed at the Dessert Inn is what I would call "firm" and caused my 18yo daughter to have back pain after the second night. She has a super soft pillow top at home, so I am sure that is what caused that.

We are staying here again in January and plan on bringing a topper for her.

I really liked the beds at the Carousel. They were so nice after a long day in the parks, and I slept so well.

I did NOT like the beds at the Fairfield. Way too firm for me, to the point that it was hard for me to sleep. DH didn't notice though.

I found it interesting that my daughter likes a firm bed, I prefer a soft bed, and we both loved the beds at the Carousel.

Beds at the HOJO were very comfy. Our bed at home is a Tempurpedic, so we are used to a great bed. These are good beds. Plus, they use Protect-A-Beds on their beds.

The beds at Sheraton Park are fantastic! I had major back surgery 4.5years ago so I am very picky on the beds I sleep in and I have never had a problem when we stay here. Now I guess being exhausted after being in the park all day helps with how well I sleep, but it always feels so good to just lay down on there beds.

I agree with DLR29, the Best Western Park Place has beds that you can't complain about, but you aren't going to remember with extreme fondness.

I also agree about the beds at BWPPI...regular bed, nothing special, but not bad. The beds at Camelot are very hard and uncomfortabe.

After spending 10 - 14 hours walking around the parks almost any mattress feels good to me. I could probably sleep on the sidewalk.
