please pray for this little boy

She drove him to the hospital after she pulled the car forward off of him. She in essence ran over him twice. This detail came from his twin brother today. The hospital called police once they found out what happened. We don't know why she didn't just slide dakota out from under the car. As all the kids continue to relay more details, we become more and more baffled.

the accident has not made it to the local papers yet because it happened so late yest evening. I checked the paper for the town his dad lives in.

I am afraid I can guess.

I agree. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is one of the best children's hospital systems in the country. I worked for Scottish Rite in the NICU and PICU for almost 15 years. We have to pass 5 hospitals to get there, but I don't take my kids anywhere else, unless it's a life & death emergency. I hope this little boy will recover with minimal physical damage.

We have an update. He has came through surgery today, but is still on life support in a drug induced coma to allow his body and brain time to heal.

Dakota's foot slipped. She admitted this. Today was not the first time she did this. Just the first time she got caught. He would run from behind the car and then run beside it until she let him in. His brothers are verifying this as they played it too. It was fun to them and they took turns and were told not to tell.

I'm certain the step-mom is just insane crazy right now with that she did. I'm guessing she was playing that game to get "in" with the children, because that is the only sane thing I can wrap my brain around in regards to her actions.
