I tried to reach guest services over 200 times using 2 phones from 7:00 to 7:30 this morning. Please post what time your call got thru!
 
After trying to connect all day on Monday, I finally got through around 3:30pm and then I was on hold for 6 hours and 27 minutes before I talked to someone in Guest Services. I would expect similar frustrations today. Good luck!
 
I just want to change my reservation. I don't mind doing it online but it doesn't seem the system will allow me to do it. My reservation is Aug. 29-Sept. 5 and I want to rebook for next April. When I click to change reservation, it seems to take me to the reservation for parks.
 
Hello and Good morning. I was trying to make a package reservation for Oct/Nov 2021 and while I can't do that yet, I did get through on 407-560-2428. Good luck!

I believe the resort "Change Reservation" feature was taken offline today, probably because they don't want the system crashing for CMs/GS if people keep trying to do it online. Because you just want to modify your dates, I would wait to call. Give it a week or so for the phone lines to calm down and I'm sure you'll be able to get right through for a CM to help you out.
 
Started calling at 7am on the dot, got through after many redials around 7:30am, was on hold 2 hrs 56 min before first CM answered, she's transferring me to GS and said it'd be a 15 min wait (it's been 36 min so far, but she did just check in on me and said maybe 5 more min) fingers crossed! 🤞
 
We have gotten through to the queue many times and the queue keeps disconnecting us after hours of hold time, insanely frustrating that in 2020 we are having to call in for these requests/changes. Disney is not some small mom and pop IT shop. They have completely fallen on their faces here.
 
Took me 3 hrs and 52 min from start to finish. Almost 3 hrs to get to the first CM, 40 min to get to GS. They did resolve my issue though and am VERY pleased, was totally worth the wait!
 
We're a split stay starting Aug 2 at Gran Destino/Poly- has there been any upcharge for changing to a different resort since ours is closed? I had asked multiple times over the last few weeks and kept getting different answers from CMs.
 
All I need to do is modify my November reservation. How long should I budget for the call to last? How is hold going?
 
I had success with the 7866 number. i did have to call MANY times to even get through. Starting calling 1936 & 7866 numbers at 7:30 today, got through at 12:14p central. total call time was 8 1/2 minutes.

The situation right now is so fluid, but as of yesterday, if you keep your dates they're trying their best to keep you within the same resort category and will give you that price protection. Yesterday afternoon they implemented some sort of matrix in which you're only offered specific rooms at specific resorts, depending on your original reservation. Early to mid-August is when I heard a lot of resorts are filling up (I'm 8/12-8/15) so I would call sooner rather than later to get your reservation settled and before their policies change again when it comes to upgrades. From my experience, if there's a specific reason why you chose your original resorts, they'll match that to the new resort. (I was initially offered Kidani from AKL but I only do QS so I was offered CR/RR/Poly instead)

Thanks! I’ve been trying so hard to watch all the updates, but somehow missed that you could modify starting Monday. Ugh. I hope there’s something left!!
 
Dialed for 2 hours this morning, finally got through to the 1936 number but was on hold for 3 hours. The CM was able to make all my changes but it took another 2 hours total (3 different parties changing rooms, had to wait for GS). Overall I'm happy!
 
Since all I really had to do was link my husband to my resort reservation, I took a shot and called the IT number (800.848.6413). It rang, went right to music and in less than 40 minutes the issue was resolved. The CM even put my husband on the same Park Reservations as I had. Yes, I booked myself yesterday without being able to book him!! Sorry, not sorry!
 
On hold now..... wanting info about our park hoppers. Tried all day.... tried again at 930 pm cst and got through and now on hold.
