Even though I am going to WDW the week after these AP rates it helps my budget planning to get an idea of what rates everyone gets.It helps us compare if you post your resort, view and if the tax is included in the total.I think many of us planner types actually keep notes for future reference on the rates. Beach Club: standard view 2/20-2/28 (8 nights) $2185.00 includes tax.

Polynesian: garden view 2/20-2/22 (2 nights) $558.00 includes tax.

Same here. One CM told me the rates weren't in the system yet, one said they are pending, another said that they are there but she can't book them yet.

I think I'll just try again in the morning.

I think I just got lucky this afternoon when I called.

I called back 10 minutes after completing the reservations for the Poly and BC and was advised the new AP rates would not be out until 1/2/04. I was calling back to ask about another resort. She advised that the rates for the mousesavers code were pending in her system.

I was lucky today too. I called after Erin posted and converted my reservation at the Polynesian to an AP rate. I also added a day to the front of the reservation and at first she couldn't do that with the AP rate. She got the present reservation set and then added the day. She was was very efficient by the way.

Yesterday I tried after it was posted that Mousesavers said AP rates were out. Thought I had it, she could see it, but couldn't book it. She put me on hold and came back and said to try again on 1/2. If not for Erin's post, I would have been setting the alarm for 5:45am.

I'm so glad that the AP rates are already coming out!

Erin, those rates that you are quoted dont sound like AP rates, they sound like they are very close to rack rates.

Your beach club rate is $273 a night
Your Poly rate is $279 a night.

Unless this is a holiday week you are staying, it looks as though you only got about 10% off??

You can always call back later and apply AP rates if applicable

Erin's time is in peak season and according to mousesavers the rack rate on a BC standard is $394 and Poly garden view is $404.

If so, then it does sound like she got a decent discount.

My rate appears to be about 35% off rack rate. I've never been quite sure how they figure the extra adult charge...is it before or after taxes...anyone know?

When I first saw the Poly AP rate posted, I thought it too sounded high for an AP rate. Then someone said it was Peak season. I do recall that the Holiday season AP rate for the Poly for checkins up to 12/26/03 was much lower. Is there that much difference in pricing from Holiday to Peak Season?

well, we decided to squeeze in a trip in March if we can get a code, but when I called just now, (which is before 11pm eastern time--) the recording says they "are closed for the Holiday, we will be back to regular hours tomorrow..." Why would they close early tonight?! Drats. Now I have to get up at 6am! ug.
I wonder what hours they were open today?

I think the people who would be getting up at 6 am are in the Central time zone. To the best of my knowledge CRO still opens at 7 am Eastern time


BTW - does anyone know if the toll free disney club # still works?

Yes, I am in the central time zone, that is why I said I will have to get up at 6am.
When I tried to call tonight I used about three different numbers--the passholder number, etc. but didn't think to try my Disney Club 800#. Maybe if I am thinking straight tomorrow before coffee, LOL, I will try that number. Thanks for the reminder.

Got CSR standard room for $116 a night including tax- checkin 4/5/04. That's down from $160.17 that I was paying with AAA discount!

Was also quoted Contemprary Garden Wing for $225 and Beach Club for $273.

Boo Hoo ! No availability at BWI for my dates! I even tried changing the arrival date by a couple of days. She said it appears the Inn is sold out for my week (Feb. 22-29).

Just got my rate
Yatch Club Standard 273.18 with tax March 8-15th
They also gave me quotes for waterview which is 317.71 with tax and lagoon concierge as 423.00 with tax.
How I wanted concierge so badly.
Oh well next time

I used the Disney Club 800 number when I called, so I guess at least for now it still works.
