We are currently booked for 4 nights this month at CSR. I think we have decided to upgrade to a deluxe. The question is which one? I am looking at the Poly, WL, BWI or BC. We have 3 days planned in the parks: Day 1 (MK and MNSSHP, Day 2 (EP) and Day 3 (DHS). We are a family of four (myself, DH, DD 9 and DS 7). The only TS meals we have planned outside of the parks are WCC before MNSSHP and 1900 Park Fare breakfast on our departure day, but we might skip that and go to AK instead.

Which would you choose and why?

TIA!!!!

WL but I'm very biased. We like our transpo options better there.

Besides its beautiful and fun for all.

For just 3 days I'd do the Poly. Great pool, great transportation options to EP and MK. 2nd choice would be Beach Club since you are doing DHS and EP and the pool is great for the kids

I'll second the Polynesian Resort. I think that it's more convenient to both MK and Epcot and 1900 Park Faire if you decide to go there.

My 1st choice would be the WL. It's a gorgeous resort - we LOVE it!

Especially since one of the restaurants where you're eating is WCC before MNSSHP... this way, you'll be at your resort, you can eat, & then take the boat straight to the MK, & you'll do less running around & more time enjoying.

My 2nd choice would be the Poly.

I voted for the Poly. We've stayed at 3 out of your 4 choices (WL, BC, & Poly) and the Poly is our favorite :goodvibes. We love the volcano pool, the beach for watching the fireworks, the close proximity to MK (as well as being within walking distance to the TTC to catch the Epcot monorail), and the overall ambiance of the resort :cloud9:. With that said, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them as they are all great resorts. Good luck :wizard:.

Absolutely the Beach Club. Kids will love the pool and you are a short walk or boat ride from two of the parks you plan on visiting. No buses for two days is worth it for me.

We're are strongly leaning toward the Poly. We've always wanted to stay there and the cost is too much for a week.

We're taking this trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary, my DH's 40th birthday and our little girl getting over a very serious illness.

So, we want to do something a little nicer and figure we will stay at CSR next time.

I like the WL for the bunk beds as my kiddos are whining about sharing a bed. And WCC is there. But as an overall resort experience we are thinking the Poly.

there's a daybed at the Poly so one can sleep in the bed and the other the daybed. Of all the options the Poly will give you the biggest room. I think it's a great choice for a short trip

Oh, I didn't know there was a daybed. Thats awesome and the kids will be happy.

What's the pool like?

I think your family will enjoy the Poly. It has the 0 depth entry a nice water slide. Enjoy the fireworks at night at the beach as well as the nightly water parade. You are only a walking distance to the TTC for Epcot monorail. And of course, you're a boat ride and monorail away from MK. You made a great choice! My other choice is WL.

For my family, 1st choice would be the Beach Club. Stormalong Bay is the best pool ever.
Since you are planning a day at EP and one at HS, being at an Epcot resort would minimize bus use.

2nd choice in that case would be Boardwalk. The Poly would be awesome, but since you are spending more days on that side, I would say Epcot area is best choice.

Also, I would say go to AK on your last day. Go at rope drop and you can get it all done at a decently early time. It really is a great park!

These are two of the many things we love about the Poly :). We love that all rooms come with a daybed so our DSs don't have to share and the rooms are very large and spacious :thumbsup2. The BC also has daybeds, but not all rooms come with them. You can request a room with a daybed, but it would just be a request and not guaranteed.

We love the volcano pool (even more than SAB at the BC, but that's personal preference ;)). It's zero entry and the slide is fun. I also love that it backs up to the beach where you have a distant view of the castle while swimming. Plus the pool is convenient to Captain Cooks for quick CS meals or snacks :goodvibes.

Poly. Nothing more romantic for your anniversary than sipping on a Lapu Lapu on the beach and watching Wishes!

I have stayed at all 4 and BC was by far my fav. You cannot beat stormalong and the location. epcot and hs are walking distance (or boat if you prefer) and the boardwalk is amazing to walk at night and play games with the kids

The Poly is our favorite resort - even the kids!
The transportation is great. Monorail or boat to MK. Can walk to TTC for Epcot monorail. Easy to get to 1900 PF for your ADR. A great pool. The beach. Fun food options. Just overall a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

After that, BWI would be our next choice. We really liked the atmosphere, the pool and the location. Can walk or boat to Epcot & DHS. Plus easy access to boardwalk restaurants and shops.

BC would be third. We have stayed at YC. Location has all the perks of BWI. Interestingly, DD(12) wasn't impressed with the pool.

WL is our least favorite of the deluxes. The lobby is gorgeous! The room felt super small, especially compared to the Poly & CR which were always our go-to resorts. Even AKL felt bigger (AKL is up there at the top of our list also). The pool at WL was really crowded too (yes, that can be the case anywhere but we've never experienced that on our prior stays at other deluxe resorts). And we always had to wait a good bit for the boat launch to MK.

All that said, any of these are great choices. Which theme appeals the most?
Have fun!!

Thank you to everyone for the input and votes. Despite BC winning the poll we decided to stay at the Poly.

Every time we go to WDW we look at the Poly and say how much we'd LOVE to stay there. It's just too much $$$ for a week.

We are super excited to stay there this trip. Did online checkin yesterday and made my room requests, hopefully we will get them but if not I'm just happy to be staying there and enjoying some awesome family time!

Have a great trip.......you are going to love the Poly :goodvibes.

I voted for Poly because of the fact that you're spending so much of your time at MK and Epcot. With a shorter trip, it would be nice to have that convenience of transportation.

Enjoy whatever you decide!

I voted for WL because of the bunk beds since you have two kids not to mention the easy access to MK will be great for MNSSHP plus you can also boat to CR then use the monorail to GF, MK & Epcot avoiding the buses if you have PH which you can buy with the savings of staying at WL instead if the other resorts after Taking the monorail to Epcot you can walk or boat to DHS
