There are lots of algae eaters that are not aggressive. I have just one pletcosumus they're not aggressive and he takes care of the entire tank. They also grow to their enviroment so mine is about 10 inches. He's not very attractive, but he does a good job.

Also thank you DF Brer_Papa for moving the tank. (Better you than me).

My mom has a large tank (I don't know the gallons but it appears to be about 4'x2'x2' or so to me). She has had a few smaller ones and she is always saying that the larger the tank the easier it is to keep it clean too. She also has a pletcosumus to eat the alge and he seems to do a good job and doesn't bother her other fish.

Not to derail your fun Tami but I don't think beta's play well with others! i have never seen one kept in a tank with other fish and I know you can't keep more than one male betta in a tank. Having a tank with the zebra's and what not would be great-but mr betta would probably have to live alone.

Rajah, I say get the tank! I'd give you mine if I lived closer to you. It's a 29 gal. and I am NOT taking it with me. BTW it has a plescassamist (sp?) it's an algea eating fish


Beauty, Take that cat! I have already informed my family that once the house is complete I am getting a pure Maine Coon, No questions asked and we already have 3 cats now.

Animals are worse than kids but ya gotta love them. Good thing we don't go gaga over little babies and take them home also.
