Please look over my buffet choices for supper...
What do you think? We have DDP with 3 teen sons who are athletic and eat piles of food all day long. Several people suggested buffets at the end of the day for around 5:30 to 7 pm for supper. Some we have been to (in bold) , most not. We are staying at Boardwalk 7 days. These are listed in order of choice, depending on what we can get.

Cape May (beach Club)
whispering Canyon (wilderness lodge)
Boma (Ak lodge)
Tusker house at AK
Hollywood & Vine (hollywood studios)
Chef Mickey's (Contemp)
Liberty Tree Tavern
Crystal Palace (MK)

I agree we LOVE Ohana breakfast or supper! Don't waste it on Hollywood and Vine, not that good!

It looks good to me. My favorites here, in order, would be Crystal Palace, Boma (breakfast or dinner) and Chef Mickey's. I've never been to the Cape May buffet.

Like the above post suggested, I'd add 'Ohana into the mix. Unless your boys are not meat eaters (it's "all you care to eat" grilled meats and shrimp), I think it would be a hit. The entertainment is geared mostly toward little kids but the atmosphere is still fun and the food is tasty.

If you can only get an early slot at one of your first choices, you may want to still consider it. We've taken some less popular early dinner time slots. Even though it feels like a very late lunch, the buffet has kept us full all evening.

My favorites on your list are Tusker House and Boma. It's all personal preference, but I'd ditch Whispering Canyon with all that in-your-face nonsense, and do Trail's End instead. I don't think your guys will roll out still hungry, and that's what counts. Have a great time!

Ok. You really think Dh and the three big teens would like Ohana's? I have been to H & V twice and am willing to try something we have not been to before.

Chef Mickey's is GREAT, we eat there every trip twice, (one dinner and on brakfast.) You cannot leave there hungry!!! I wish I could eat more when I am there! It is the only restaurant we have gone to every single one of our trips.

WCC is another one of our favorites. The skillet is all you can eat and very yummy!!! The deserts are grat too, we always have to eat them the next day though because we leave too full! The chocolate cake is a great breakfast though!!! We have made this a new "first night" tradition our last few trips.

We also enjoy Crystal Palace, but often skip it as it is good but not a "can't miss" in our opinions. But we have been very pleased with our meals there (always dinner.)

WCC is another one of our favorites. The skillet is all you can eat and very yummy!!! The deserts are grat too, we always have to eat them the next day though because we leave too full! The chocolate cake is a great breakfast though!!! We have made this a new "first night" tradition our last few trips.

We only have 6 nights to eat in Disney (7th day we leave) plus on DDP. I just booked and got
Cape May, Boma, Tusker House, Crystal palace, H & V and Ohana (very late at night!)
Absolutely no availability for Le Cellier or Chef Mickey.

There was no problem getting through on the phone line.

What does "one table" dining mean? She kept saying on the rez phone about this for Tusker house, Crystal Pal and Ohana.

Just adding - Ohana is that way as well, not a buffet, but a set menu that is served to you family style (sort of). Maybe that's what the "one table" reference is? Never heard that, they usually just call it family style when you just have communal bowls at the table.

Duh! Think I could have figured that out, but I usually hear it referred to as "credits"!
