The other team has the right to do an autopsy... so that is the hold up.
I heard this on Nancy Grace the other day. Same question came up, and rightfully so.

The second autopsy was completed 5 or more days ago. They say she hasn't been buried because they are making sure all the tests are complete before burial.

Some people on webslueths think they are delaying the burial because the police said they wouldn't interview or indict any of the Anthony's until after the funeral.

Bury that sweet childs remains and get on with the trial already.

there are two motions today....Jose showed up with no Casey, the judge made them go get Casey from the jail, she waived her right to appear but the judge said you're here you may as well stay. They are talking about the photos of teh remains as well as the hair sample and she is showing no emotion whatsoever.

Actually, that is not completely true. If you were to look close at the video (they show it about every five minutes here on the local news), you'll notice that Casey keeps clenching her jaw. She looks like she is under an incredible amount of stress. At one point, when they mention the photos of Caylee's remains, Casey gets a little teary eyed. I really think that the strain of the ordeal is beginning to get to her. Given enough time, I think she will crack. It's just a matter of time.

Would you rather they rush into this and Casey get off on a technicality? They need to take their time and make sure everything that could possibly be done is done. Caylee is beyond pain now. Taking a little longer to bury her remains makes no difference at this point.

Really. I get upset talking about losing my dog and she gets "teary eyed" when they discuss pictures of Caylee??? Un-flippin-beleivable.

well I guess everyone can interpret it the way they see it. I watched and I saw no emotion except when she had a huge smile for Jose.

Does the 16th to 18th June date correspond to the date that Casey went to the neighbors and asked for a shovel?

Also I wonder what date the (confession) strange poem written by Casey was posted on the internet site?

Is there a trail date yet?, I know originally it was going to be heard in January but I think I have missed the actual date.

I am sure we are all hoping that poor Caylee's death was quick and painless like going to sleep, but the duct tape over her mouth is just so scarey.

Well, I have believed, which I posted here early in the case, that Caylee was killed intentionally by Casey. I was just thinking about how little Caylee could have suffered and that is so very sad and painful. To think of her taking her last breath wondering how mommy could do that to her. Mommy, the one you're supposed to trust.

Seeing Casey in court, she wasn't the polished murderer that she was when she came to court in perfect make-up, black pants, and white shirt, while wiping her tears of self pity. The Casey we saw yesterday actually looks like she's been in jail. She looks the same as she did when they first took her out of jail when she was clinging to Jose as the press swarmed them. She looks like she's wearing last nights makeup and that alone, would make her chin quiver. If Len had not bailed her out the first time, she would have had a longer time to suffer and things may have progressed quicker, who knows.

I don't believe she got choked up about hearing about Caylee's remains. I believe she got choked up when they mentioned the remains because those bones, along with all the other evidence, are her ticket to hell. Those remains are why she has lost mommy and daddy. I think she was ticked off that she didn't look nice for her day in court. That's how I see her. Cold, calculating, and without feeling for anyone or anything but her own "suffering."

They were ready to proceed with trial without the remains, so yes, I want them to get on with it soon. They don't need to hold the remains, I see this as a stalling tactic so George, Cindy, and Lee don't have to talk to the police.

What I noticed most was that when she heaved her hand up to swear to tell the truth..... .....she got that doe-eyed, I'm so cute look. I halfway expected her to tilt her head and giggle at the judge. Later on, I noticed a big old smirk. She sickens me.

I agree that ANY show of emotion at the mention of Caylee's remains was due to the fact that the discovery of those remains may very well lead to her spending the rest of her sorry life in prison.....NOT because she's distraught over the death of Caylee.

On Nancy Grace last night they (don't remember who) said that they had all they needed from the remains and there was no reason not to go ahead with the burial. I think I read here that were waiting to indict the Anthony's until after Caylee's burial and that is why the Anthony's are waiting as long as they can

Casey showed a little smidge of emotion, not what I would be showing given that my daughter had been found in this condition. I would be a hysterical mess and would have been from the begnning. I did notice the little sly smiles at Baez, though, SICKENING
