The Rose & Crown isn't a package you just have took a time close I would suggest 7.30/7.45

For your MVMCP have you thought about an early dinner at a monorail resort?

We have been to MNSSHP twice and to be honest on that day we would just do counter service as we never wanted to waist time:rotfl:.......I know you have an ealier dinner but as it's a late night we try and rest for most of the day and then get into MK for about 5.30 so we don't miss any of the party.

You might want to have dinner at Saana a little earlier, while still light & you can see the animals. We're trying it for the first time this Aug & have booked for when it first opens, 4.30 in the hope of getting a window seat.

I was thinking about 1900 Park Fare.
It's hard to plan for meal times when you have kids - my youngest will be 5 and I worry that she won't last until 7.30 for dinner. :confused3

I thought we would rest for the day and then head out to Liberty Tree Tavern for an early dinner. I thought (hoped) we would finish eating by 5.30 - 6pm and be out ready for the party. Is that a little ambitious?

I had no idea that it would be going dark at that time! I will make a note to try for 4.30.

Yes, 7.30 is a little late for youngsters.

I don't know if it will be dark then, probably will be by the time you're finished but if at opening (4.30) you would have more of a chance of a window seat.

Thanks. Would love a window seat.:goodvibes

We went to 1900 Park Faire for dinner twice before MNSSHP and found it worked well. Its very expensive but fine if you are on the dining plan. I booked for 4.30 and found it was the earliest dinner time of the monorail resorts, also most restaurants seem to stop reservations for about an hour or so between lunch and dinner. I dont remember us needing anything much to eat the rest of the party time either.

Good luck with your ADRs!

I would just say that ADR's are a guide time and on some occasions we had to wait quite a while for our table....in one cases it was nearly an hour later that we were seated.

That is something I need to bear in mind.:thumbsup2

It's a while since I've gone off peak so you maybe ok. Christmas and summer I would book lunches as soon as they start serving them. I'd go for an earlier time for Chef Mickey's - 9:30 is pretty peak and it's a very busy spot. Your 5-6 evening times should work really well for you.

Looks good to me :thumbsup2

We have never had to wait long for an adr - fingers crossed for the same this October.

Park fare buffet is fun - if you eat early you could get monorail to MVMCP.

The reason I was thinking of 9.30am for Chef Mickey's is because it's our last morning, but on second thoughts, we will want to make the most of the day, so I might shift that to an earlier time. I have chosen 5-6pm dinners as that is what time the kids eat at home. I know they will be having later nights at WDW, but I can't imagine many 5 year olds wanting to eat their main meal at 8pm.:confused3 Watch me be proved completely wrong.:rotfl:

Yes - might go for Park Fare before MVMCP. It's not looking good for Hoop de Doo, so I'm considering Chefs de France, Beaches and Cream and Park Fare.

Hoop de doo is fab, we had a great time.....but we also like Chef de France, the food was one of the best we had.....We have been to 1900PF twice, the first time was fab but the second time was quite bad and to be honest I don't think we would go again.

Has anyone managed to book hoop for October? - been away to see relatives - not been on restaurant boards for a few days.
