Buying that 3rd day adds quite a bit of money. However, AAA gives a discount so it would be around $200. Plus, since I already bought my plane ticket it's less of a shock. If the party sells out before we get our tickets then its no MK.:sad2: And it occured to me there will be no Dole Whips at the party! But, no I'm not going to spend an extra $70 to get a pineapple ice cream! So, I guess I'm leaning towards MK on Sun, make rope drop and we could stay til 3? How far is it to the airport? My plane leaves at 5:55. But, 6 hours doesn't sound like much. I don't know. I really don't want this trip to be rush, rush, rush so hanging out at the Boardwalk on Sunday is very appealing. Real decisive huh?:rolleyes1

That is a hard choice to make I'm sure. Too bad you can't just decide once you get there but I know then the ticket price would be much higher.

As for the party, I am sure it will not sell out. At least I don't think it will. I don't think there is much danger of that until it gets closer to Christmas.

As for the Dole Whips, you can always get one at the Poly CS place.

I guess I wasn't much help either!

I'd say we need to plan about 30 minutes to get to the airport. It is not that far but traffic can be bad. And depending on where we are in WDW it sometimes take a while to get out. How far in advance do you like to be at the airport. I'm neurotic and like to be there two hours ahead which is crazy. I think if we were in the car by 4 at the latest you would be ok.

I haven't flown since 9/11 so I don't know what I prefer! I'll have to use your preference!

I don't know! I'll think some more. 9-4 at Mk would be nice, but we'd have to get a good late lunch since my plane doesn't land until 8:00. So maybe MK wouldn't be the best idea. Where's Kimmy with her rational Disney thoughts and knowledge?!

okay, the least amount of time to plan for MCO is 2 hours and that is RISKY! We usually fly out at off times and always always always give at least 2 1/2 hours. The weekends are madness at MCO, but because you are flying out later you should be safe with 2-2 1/2 hours.

Everything you guys have picked out for food is perfect for me. I am happy with anything.

I think that we should just have a relaxing day on Sunday. That way there will no rushing around a park.

OH and they had the Dole Whip place open at Pirate and Princess, so I'm thinking they came to their senses and decided to keep it open during parties.

Good info about the airport Kimmy! I've never actually flown out of MCO. And usually I make Erik take a car service. You should feel special Monica! :lmao:

Ok - so do we want to try for a restaurant at a resort or the boardwalk?

Monica, what airline are you flying? If you are flying Delta, you can do resort airline checkin that morning before doing "whatever" for the day. That means when you get to the airport, you do not have to checkin at the airline counters, you go straight to security.

I think they have resort checking at the Pop, don't they? I may be speaking out of turn--this may be like the TV's at the bus stop and I'm assuming all resorts have airline checkin????

Anyway, it's not so bad at the airport if you can go straight to security. Towncars always pick us up at the resort at exactly 2 hours before flight time. Even when security lines are bad, we've never had a problem.

Food choices are fine with me. I'm easy to please.

I know I can do online checki n 24 hours before the flight, but that's all I know. Yes, I'm flying Delta. And by the sound of what they are saying about ticket prices on the news, I'm doing a  banana dance cause I already got mine! Now in October they'll probably go down and Kimmy will fly in for $50!!

It'll have to be a resort, DTD, or Boardwalk. I'll see who has lunch. Or we could do Beaches N Cream Sun instead of Sat?

Yes - they do have airline checking at POP - at least I've seen the booth there!

I was just checking in on Pakey's report and had a little thought. How much are the Illumination cruises?:rolleyes1 I'm really stickin to a tight budget huh?!:rotfl:

I was thinking the same thing! We'd have to do an earlier dinner which is fine. And, from what I hear it is hard to get the cruises booked but we could try - put it in fates hands. If we get it - we'll go! I think there is a sticky thread somewhere about the price. Going to look. What a way to see IllumiNations for the first time! :cool1:

 I would LOVE to do this!! Good thoughts. With all of us, it can't cost too much, right??

Well, I would be willing to book it, if we want to do it. Let me know the date that would be and I will be on it. It's not like I do anything at work until 9AM anyways

Ok! We'll give you the job! I don't want to get too excited as it sounds like it is hard to get but it would be great! Now remember - no chit-chat on the phone! :thumbsup2 ;)

$275 divided by 6 people is $45
$275 divided by 7 people is $39
$275 divided by 8 people is $34
$275 divided by 9 people is $30
$275 divided by 10 people is $27

I'll go read the thread, but don't you have to be on the phone at 6:58 and literally interupt the CM and yell, "I WANT TO BOOK THE CRUISE!"

I'd be willing to give up a table service meal to pay for this! I'd love it!!! Or just save the extra $$ and do it all!!!!!:yay:

Since you're not going to buy a park ticket for Sunday I think that justifies the cost of the cruise, right? This is Disney math after all. :)

And yes - you've got the booking process just right!

If we can order private dining on the boat from the Poly does that mean they'll deliver Lapu Lapus?! Sounds like a good plan to me and we'ver got the right girl for the job!:thumbsup2

Alright! I'm on it!! This is my kind of challenge. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I SWEAR, I have a life (sometimes)
