Please keep your arms, legs and antlers in the vehicle at all times. *2 UPDATES! 1/16

Been reading menus, and here's what I got so far: (Please forgive my pickiness! Pick what restaurant you want, and I'll just grab a turkey leg somewhere!:rotfl:)

-The only thing that I would eat at Fulton's cost $40, and I can't spend that kind of $$ on a meal.

-Same thing w/ Raglan Road, but I could find something there.

-Captain Jack's would be OK

-Earl of Sandwich is the most appealing to me at DTD, then we could go to Ghiradelli's later.

-Or shop DTD in the afternoon, then go to Boma for dinner.

Back to menus, or I could clean the house I guess!

I don't much care for LTT, myself. The Plaza and Cindy's isn't usually open for parties. That pretty much leaves Tonys and CP and that is sometimes not open for parties either.
I don't really like any of the MK restaurants, but I would be willing to give Tony's another try.

Wouldn't we be eating around 5:00? Are they open then? I would try Plaza or Tony's. Maybe we could do a 4:00 ADR at a monorail resort. Kona has lunch.

Cracks me up that you like Boma!
Okay, Fultons and Raglan is for sure out then. Jacks is nice cause it's right on the water, and it really gives that DTD atmosphere. I love Earl, but I hate that LONG line.

I know! I'm a complicated gal! Boma's food isn't as "complicated" as you'd think. Love it there! Is Earl's line long all day? Even "off" times like 3:30? I'm sorry guys. Seriously, feel free to eat w/out poor, picky Monica!:rotfl:

Monica, this is fun! Don't think for a minute that your pickiness is annoying.

Yet.

:scratchin good to know.... NO we are not going to eat without you! I'm simple and will eat most places (except Norway, German and Morocco) anything else is good for me. I'm sure we will all come together

Ok, as long as Yak n Yeti doesn't get rid of the ribs, I will eat there! Do you think those are Yak ribs?:rotfl:

What about Tusker House for lunch on Friday or Grand Floridian Cafe? Isn't Councourse Steakhouse gone? Allears still has the menu listed. Keep in mind that I haven't eaten at any of these places so tell me "YUM" or "YUCK"!

Thanks guys! TURKEY LEGS ALL AROUND!!! Seriously, a turkey leg and a dole whip and I'm good to go!:thumbsup2

YAK RIBS! HA!
I have never been to Tusker House, Grand Floridian Cafe is nice and its REALLY easy to get a reservation. Concourse steakhouse is one big YUCK and I believe they are closing some time next month.

Just to throw something out there... the new T-rex restaurant is supposed to be opening in DTD in the Fall. Might be a little "campy" for us, but just thought I would mention it.

Sara

HMMM, I wouldn't mind trying Grand Floridian Cafe. Maybe less kids eating there too!:thumbsup2 If I'm taking a break from my kids, I'd like to have a little break from everyone else's too! Pakey, have you been there for lunch? The menu looks nice, and we could check out the gingerbread house, hop on the monorail and get to MK at a decent time.

Or we could do a late lunch at Yak or Tusker at AK. Wow, it's only taken us all day to make some progress!! And Michelle's missed the whole thing!! Where is that girl 6 days before tax day? You'd think she had work to do or something!!

Nichole and Nicole, chime in anytime!! I know, you like someone else planning, but if it's something you think you won't like please jump in!

I've heard T-Rex meat is a little tough!:rotfl:

Sounds like a place with LOTS of kids!

I think I need to stay away more often - you all have come up with some good ideas!

We could do an early lunch or late breakfast on Friday and then have a late lunch or early dinner at a monorail resort - both Poly and GF sound good! Good way to get a meal and check out a resort at the same time. There will be plenty of cookies at MK in the evening if we need more food!

Or, we could do an early breakfast at AK (before park opening) and then something else later.

Or, Plaza at MK sounds interesting. But I think it is pretty small and loud in there - maybe not good for our group.

We could even just get CS at either Poly or GF and just enjoy the resorts.

So many options!!! Will we just bring our MVMCP shirts with us and change before the party?

Hello everyone! :wave2: Kim has finally bugged me enough to join you all on the thread so I can give my own answers to the questions of the day. I CAN'T WAIT TILL WE ALL GO ON THIS TRIP!!!! Hey Monica......is my best friend Hunter coming on this trip????:dancer:

MISSA!!!! No Hunter this time, but he talks about you and Kimmy ALL the time!!! Give us your input. This is going to be the best trip! I'm super excited!

Hi Michelle! Where have you been today? I thought about bfast, but that would make for a VERY long day!

THURSDAY POSSIBILITIES:

-Arrival
-DTD shopping=I think this works better than shopping Sunday because most of us will already be packed on Sunday.
-Maybe a snack at Ghiradellis?
-Dinner at Cap N Jacks, Earl of Sandwich, or go to AKL to eat a late dinner at Boma
-Hang out at Pop, grab a drink at the bar

What do ya think?

Hi Missa! I've heard so much about you - looking forward to meeting you in December! :)

Monica - Thursday plans sound great! I agree that shopping will be better on Thursday than Sunday - the weekends seem to be crazy at DTD. Don't forget about making our iron-on shirts Thursday night too! :)

So, who will be getting in on Thursday? I know Monica and I will be. What about the rest of you?

Michelle, we can make our shirts when we check into our room to drop off our luggage. It doesn't take long to iron on.

I think Kimmy, Missa, Sara, and Pakey are all coming in on Thursday now.

Oh good! This is going to be so much fun!!! :santa:  :santa:

What are you thinking about shirts? Just a girls weekend one or a Christmas one too? Are we going to use the crazy princess one? Think of some Christmas ideas, and everyone make sure you buy your tee shirts before fall and they are hard to find at the stores.

I think we definately need a girls weekend shirt - either the crazy princesses or the speak/hear/see no evil one. Both are great! I think we should wear something Christmassy (is that a word?) for the party but we don't have to all match if we don't want to. Might be a pain to make so many shirts? I can always get t-shirts here in Florida any time of year if someone has trouble finding them.
