I Have to agree I love Coral Reef. But I would like to try Teppanyaki in Japan. It would probably be fun with a group.

Anyway I still have to work on DH a bit. Or I have to make sure he can get his Jets tickets from his connection that has season tickets, then check on airfare.

I think we would have fun at Japan. I was checking out airfare today. Kimmy says the best prices will be in August. I hope she's right!

I haven't eaten at many counter services. I've only done Flame Tree, Caseys and the new Yak n Yeti cs-forgot what it's called. Since I haven't eaten at many, I don't have much for comparison. I'm excited to maybe try something I haven't tried before. Unlike some people who are afraid of the unknown. But I'm not bitter, oh no, not at all.

Wow Faith. You're really going to be in for a shock! Value resort AND counter service food! No V and A's for us girls on a budget! Actually, I probably wouldn't like it anyways!

I have a question for you all, as I see you have not all booked the rooms. Do you think if I am checking in on Thanksgiving or the day after, I should book preferred? I do like to be semi close to the main area. Last fall we were next to the big wheel in the 70's. I would hate to get the left over rooms in the last part of the 80's or 50's. What do you think? BTW- We are at POP until the 30th, then we move.

Thanks, I think! The dwarfs come out sporadically at the partys in Fantasyland. You almost need to be at the right place at the right time. We just hopped in a long line waiting for nothing. They closed it off after about 10groups. I heard they were out at the Christmas party this year, but we didn't see them this time.

I agree w/ Sara. I'd book preferred so you don't get the Thanksgiving leftovers! I've never stayed at POP though so I wouldn't know what to ask for anyway! Michelle's in charge of our room!

My must meet character is Marie Kitty, I have stalked her out twice now and no dice. They said that she has not been out in weeks in EPCOT

My sit down is Le Cellier (don't tell Pakey) and counter service is Pinocchio's Village Haus (they have a WHOLE room dedicated to Figaro) yesterday night was the first time I had done a CS in a really long time. It was so expensive, you might as well sit down.

Still no Marie Kitty? You're right about the $$ for CS! Did you eat at Pinocchio's? Hurry home Kimmy and give us your thoughts!

That would give me about 5 1/2 hours in the park before I had to leave. Is it worth it? Just typing out my thoughts. It'll take December for me to get them together!

I don't know if 5 1/2 hours at MGM is worth it, Monica. If it were a longer stay and the extra day was only like $4 or $5 extra, I would say absolutely, but they really don't start discounting those subsequent days until you get up to the 4 day mark. Of course, I would love everyone to stay as long as possible - it would be great! But from a budget standpoint, I don't know if I could justify that much for MGM. It's got some great things, like BatB, GMR, Mermaid, RnRC (I might even ride it ), and of course TOY STORY MANIA! I'm fine with resort hopping and shopping that day, if that's what the majority wants to do. I'm sorry. I wasn't much help, was I? At least we have time to brainstorm all of this. And if you decide it is worth it, then you've got a while to come up with another $50 for that 3rd day. What's really frustrating is to go from a 3 day to a 4 day is only like $6!

I'd love to stay the day, but I have to think about being picked up at the airport and how much work Dave will have to take off! If I leave at 5ish I'd get home around 7ish and my mom could pick me up. I hate for you to miss MGM though. Even if we went to MGM on Fri instead of AK you'd miss the lights because we'd have to leave for the party. I hate to split up on Sunday, but we can. I really don't have the need to hit every park and I deffinitely don't want to tour commando style! I want a relaxing, hang out w/ my friends trip.

Before I started this thread Michelle and I discussed the piano bar at POR. We walked past several times on our last trip and it looks like a fun place. We'll have to keep in mind.

Monica, I'm fine not doing every park. Really. I will be glad to be able to do the party, AK, and Epcot. I'm really looking forward to meeting/seeing everyone and I hope to be able to see and do a lot of the stuff that just wasn't possible with a large group!

I thought about the character thing....I've never met (and can't remember even seeing) Daisy Duck. Wouldn't mind seeing Mary Poppins either!

Jen, will you be at the MK on Friday? I would think we would be getting there as soon as they will let us in with our party tix - around 4 or so. We could get together sometime between 4 and 7 when the regular park closes.

Right now I think Thursday night is possibly DTD for dinner and shopping Could meet up for a drink that night. Are you at a park that day or would you be able to meet us over there???

The majority of us will be arriving mid day on Thursday so it will be DTD or resort hopping. So maybe we can meet up with you sometime Thursday. Otherwise I think its Ak on Friday, then the MK for the party. When will you know what TGM is calling for?

Missa would probably say MGM, since some of you would ride tot with her, but she too likes AK a lot.

honestly I could skip both, but AK draws me in with the safari and EE. For food she would vote Teppan Edo, she's been wanting to go there, and there is never enough park time for Missa, so she would want to go to a park on Friday.
