OK - so I bought two packs of transfer paper today. One dark and one light. I also got a pink/mauve t-shirt at Target (on clearance!) and a long sleeve red v-neck (they were out of red in short sleeve). So, wish me luck!

That's fantastic Michelle! I might have to hit Target this weekend and look myself. Or I might just order from jiffy...IDK! So, did you and Monica talk about how she does hers (center vs. across chest).

Oh, use the dark transfer paper...always turns out better, even on light colored clothes. And you don't have to reverse the image when you use dark.

I'm getting so friggin' excited! So excited that I just used the word friggin'!

Oh Monica, that is so funny because I was at Walgreens today in between dance classes and saw antler headbands - some lit up. I didn't get them, because I wanted to run it past you girls first! Guess I'll go back and get them, huh? That is too funny! I swear we do share a single brain sometimes!

I may be able to do the red shirt, I'll have to look to see if I have one that won't be too hot. I don't have any antlers, but can see if I come across some, somewhere. Where did you find yours? Walgreen's?

We have something going on almost every day until we leave. I am working on packing today. I have Tink's b-day party this Friday, Sat. I am decorating for Christmas because we are hosting a party the evening we get home. Sunday we are having a pretend Thanksgiving dinner and celebrating Tink's b-day with family. In between we have all of our normal activities, play dates, shopping and errands. I feel swamped. I am having the pre-vacation anxiety. Yikes!

You all will look cute in your t-shirts. There are no t-shirts to be found up here. Hey, did you know that it is in the low 30's here! I have been watching the weather and it looks like 70's. That is a +40 degree turn around for me!

Jen, you don't have to have a matching shirt, but you MUST wear antlers. It's a rule for our club. If you don't own antlers (who doesn't own antlers?) you can wear a santa hat, or one of those big Christmas hats Disney sells.

The tickets are in! There's no turning back now! So, anyone started a packing list yet? Mine from last year got lost in the computer fiasco.

Hey girls, I was just reading on allears that the castle lighting isn't until 6:30 this year. That's probably gonna interfere with the Twas show, isn't it? The castle lighting is so beautiful - I wonder if we stood on the Tomorrowland bridge to watch it and then hightailed it to the 7:00 show, would we make it? It's only about 15 minutes long, but it might make us have not-too-good of seats. Drat! Last year it was at 5:45. But I agree that the 7:00 Twas show is probably the best one to go to. DId any of you see the lighting last year?

I got my antlers yesterday too! We are going to look so cool! Jen, I'm glad you were able to find some too!

I've never seen the castle lighting show but would love too. Maybe if we watch it and book it over to the Twas show we will make it just in time? If we end up in the back that is fine with me. And if we don't make it then we will have to just catch a later show. Since the castle lighting is only once a night I think that is what we'll have to do.

I agree about the show, Michelle. I would love to catch the first one at 7:00 but the castle lighting is so pretty - I'd hate to miss that! Do you think watching it from the TL bridge would be a good spot and that way we would be in a good area to get over to the theater fairly quickly? I don't mind sitting in the back either. The next show would be at 8:00, so if we missed it we could do some Fantasyland/Tomorrowland stuff and then go to the 8:00!

I don't care. I'm just going w/ the flow. We didn't see the lighting last year. We got in line for the show around 6:30 last year, they didn't let us in until 6:50 and we were already half way back to sit. So, I'd be surprised if we could get seats after the lighting. When's the last show? I've heard that one isn't too bad because some people leave after the 1st parade. So we could do: 6:30 castle lighting, Rides and characters, 8:00(?) parade in Frontierland, 10(?) Twas show.

We're gonna look so cute in our antlers! I don't want it to be hot, but I'm so cold today I'm looking forward to some warm sunshine. It's gonna snow tonight here. BRRR.

OOO....snow! I'm jealous, Monica! We had A flurry yesterday - literally like ONE!

The last Twas show is at 11:15 I think. I'm wondering what time you have to get in line for it though? I like the idea of the first one since we aren't technically on "party time" yet while we are standing in line and for the 11:15 one we would be, so I don't know what to do...

Wondering if we tried for the first...if we can't get in...try for the last (maybe going over to it right after the 2nd parade at 10:30 - if we stake out a parade spot over in Frontierland and as it passes us, head the back way (behind the castle) to TL. Then we could finish up the party on that side of the park - Space mtn, TTA, Buzz and some shopping down Main St?

Just brainstorming here....if we miss the castle lighting it won't kill us! It is really beautiful though!

Either way...we can't miss Twas! It looks so cute!

So who knows if this if this lighting is done daily? If so... I am sure I'll see it earlier in my vacation, so I can wait for seats for us. Think that would work?

I have heard that you really need to try to see the 1st show (DIS Podcast). If we don't see it we likely will miss other things going on when we see it later.


But to be honest~ I have never been to this party so I really know nothing.

I've never seen the castle lighting or the show so I guess I'm not much help. But, if we miss the castle lighting, at least we still will get to see the gorgeous castle all lit up all night long!
