"Take small children by the hand"

We have been to Disney 15 times- and it never fails, when DH hears this, he grabs my hand:rolleyes:

When I was browsing the gift shop at the Grand Floridian in December, I saw they have a shirt that has the Monorail speech in Spanish on it.

Yeah the monorail speach is:
Por favor, mantenganse allejado de las puertas

Its one of our favorites. Just something in the way he says us makes us laugh everytime.

This one is(or at least was) available at DTD, My sister bought it for me last Feb. I wont wear because i don't want to ruin it. I hope they are still selling them when I go again so I can get one to wear.

I bought that shirt in the GF when I was there in Aug!

However, I thought I read somewhere, that they did not word it right- so the translation is not exact??:confused3

I'd change it up a bit though...something like:

Por favor, manténgase alejado de la Disney-loco niño

translate.google.com is your friend...

I'm not sure about the translation, but I do know that it has a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle on it instead of Cinderella Castle...I have no idea why, since DL's monorail doesn't even have the same spiel. I guess most people don't notice though. To them, a castle is a castle. :confused3

Not sure what the shirt has, but the direct translation seems to be:

Por favor, manténgase alejado de las puertas
Please, keep clear of the doors

If I plug in "stand" for "keep", it comes out just:

Por favor, alejado de las puertas

ooh, what is the line about not putting your safety glasses on until you are safely seated inside the theater safely? That might be a good one, but I can't find it just now.
