Please keep my first grade student in your thoughts

I found out this morning that one of my precious little students was diagnosed with leukemia. His mom had taken him to the pediatrician on Monday because his "legs were hurting." The pediatrician did bloodwork and told the mom that his white cell count was "off" and he referred him to a hospital in Boston. Yesterday he was diagnosed with leukemia and chemo was started immediately.

If you are prone to prayer please say an extra one tonight for my darling Christian and his family.

I'm so sorry. I will definatly be saying prayers for Christian. That poor baby!!! God works miracles though and we have to trust him.

If his parents would allow it, could you get his address and then let those of us who are interested know so that we could send him a card? (If his parents are OK with it, I'd suggest you let us know his address via a PM.) Think of how surprised he would be if a lot of people he didn't know sent him a card. That might cheer him up some while he's going through this hard time.

that is so sad This is probably the 3rd time I've heard of this where kids complained about their legs hurting and it's been cancer. So scary. my thoughts and prayers to him and his family now. I hope he will be alright.

He is in my thoughts....its a tough road he has for the next couple years. DO you know if it is ALL or AML? We have been though his first hand with Matthew and I wish them all the best.
