Please help!

Thanks guys - I actually stayed ground floor at Caribbean Beach v near the water last time I visited, so I'm feeling extra grateful I didn't see any now!

That said I am also a lifelong TERRIFIED of snakes person, I've had the ability to fly like Peter Pan when I see one. THEN we bought in Florida and every time I went to the garden a different colored critter slithered by. When we walked up on a rattlesnake I make an instant u turn dragging the kid with me. DH did photo it and report to maintenance. We are in a "protected preserve" but I'm sure that little buddy had an accident anyway.

Best is sitting ground at Universal Studios waiting for their nighttime show and a snake came out of the bushes and slithered across my lap. I thought I would die but was frozen. He proceeded to create quite the scene with guests screaming and jumping on benches. I've learned, stay away and leave them alone and you should be okay BUT I still don't like them.

O.M.G!! This is a story I seriously could’ve gone my whole life without knowing! If I had a snake slither across my lap, I’d be in therapy for life!!! I freak just seeing a cockroach 😂

I can't stop laughing in horror! I put the computer down and backed away from it, just sort of laugh/screaming!

In 20+ trips staying on Disney property, I've not even seen a snake, much less had one in my room. We've seen plenty of little wee lizards (so cute) though not in our room but no snakes. I don't doubt that they are in the bushes but I don't go tromping in them so we never encounter each other. I think the likelihood of one being in your room is very very small and if you stay on the paths, it's also not likely that you'll run into one.

Ok so I had to brag about how I never saw a snake in over 20 trips in this thread. I just had to brag. Well today coming back to our room
At Riverside we were going past the pool and a lady said do you see the snake just as I had my head turned that way and sure enough a quite long black snake was wriggling around on the sidewalk. Luckily we were going the other direction. My daughter said it was dancing to the pool party music. I luckily cannot swim because of having recent hand surgery so I am staying in the room while they go to the pool. Had to ruin a perfect record. I feel it was inevitable tho.

We found a snake in our ground floor room at Beach Club. We captured it under a wastebasket and requested maintenance to come get it. They took a long time! The maintenance guy said 'oh this type is harmless'. Ok now get it out of here.

I would request a higher than ground floor room.
