Please Help

Ok so... I booked our trip to Disney World last January. I even flew down to Orlando in April to buy my Military Tickets....DH and I spent less than 30 hours in WDW (flights were only like $35 to sanford) Plus DH was getting discharged from the Marines. I am taking my mom and dad this trip....so excited. I bought their tickets mine, DD, and of couse DH was free. 90 mark rolled around and I got all of my dining reservations I wanted I was up at 5:30 that morning and so nervous I thought I would die. These ressies included CRT for lunch...yeah!!! It is all me and my daughter (almost four) have talked about. She is doing BBB before, and so excited....well we leave Sept 26, so on Aug 12th I paid off my trip, and my parents trip. Then tonight my parents announce they are getting a divorce......(sorry so long) Im devastated....26 years of marraige. so...what to do.....the military tickets have their name on them but have not been activated by anyone....and ALL of my dining reservations are for 5 people. Am I going to have to cancel all of them? What about CRT? Can I pay for all 5 and only have 3 eating? this is the only one I can not cancel my daughter would be devastated. I also booked Norway Princess Lunch...what about that. If I took DMil and my Brother in law can I switch the names on the hoteel reservation...what about adding them then calling back and deleting my parents? What about the military tickets? I am soooo confused...PLEASE HELP!!!

First, I'm so sorry to hear about your parents. It's never easy when parents split, no matter how old you are so hang in there.
Secondly, I have no idea about the actual disney tickets. You should call and see if they can be transferred, or even look on the tickets it might say?(not familiar with military tickets)
Third, I think you can "downgrade" your ADRs without having to pay for the extra seats. Like, even if you were to cancel within the alloted time you wouldn't have to pay because you gave notice. Just call the disney dining and I'm sure they will take good care of you.
So take a deep breath...it will all work out and you will still have an amazing time!

sorry about your parents....now take a deep breath!! You can take people off your ADRs...if they do not show for CRT you will be charged...for ones without a cc hold when you arrive you can tell the host that the other 2 people couldnt make it, it happens all the time. Im not sure about the military tickets but i think the names could be changed or you can change your ressie

Thank you sooo much for your help.....this has been a nightmare. But it will be ok...I won't let anything ruin this trip for my daughter...or me and DH.

I'm so sorry to hear about your parents.

My family went in May using the military five-day passes, and they didn't have names on them, that I recall...? Only my brother used them (my parents and I have APs) and he used one of the five-day tickets for the first five days, then used part of my dad's complimentary pass for the last three days. They were used just like regular tickets, so as long as the same person is using each ticket day-to-day (because of the fingerprint scanners), it shouldn't be a problem.
