I need to make some adjustments to my ADR's and need some help! On our HS day I can't get a Fantasmic dinner package so would you do a late lunch (maybe at Mama Melrose) or a late dinner? I want to see the Block Party Bash at 3 and Fantasmic at 7 - how should I schedule this??

Also, on our MK day how would you fit dinner in? Dreams Parade is at 3, Spectro at 7 and Wishes at 8 - how long do they all last & should I do dinner after Wishes or between Dreams and Spectro? I want to do Chef Mickeys that day and have an ADR for 5:20 but am wondering if it will work??

One more thing - if you had to pick, which of the following are your favorites? They are all dinner or maybe a late lunch?? I have ADRs' at some, but am not telling which so I get honest feedback!! :)

Ohana's
Garden Grill
Cape May Cafe
Le Celliar
Whispering Canyon
Tappen Edo
Coral Reef

I love seafood, hubby loves steak & we have a 7 year old son, but already have 1 character dinner & 1 character breakfast ADR. Any thoughts at all would be appreciated - and at this point I probably won't be able to change my ADR's, but we are flexible & only 59 days away!! Please give any thoughts - we are newbies!!!

Thanks a bunch!!!!!

I would schedule a late lunch at DHS (we enjoy Sci-Fi) around 5:00. Then maybe grab a snack right before Fantasmic.

For dinner at MK..I would definately NOT try fitting it in between Spectro & Wishes. Just not enough time in between. Depending on what time of year you are going a 5:20 ADR may or may not give you enough time to take the monorail over, enjoy dinner, make it back into the park & find a nice place for 7:00 pm Spectro. I would try and plan something in the park for between 4:00-5:30 for dinner.

From your list :
Ohana's: We enjoyed it: Good food:great service:fun for the kids!
Garden Grill: We didn't love the food. We prefer to dine with our 'friends' elsewhere.
Cape May Cafe: never eaten
Le Celliar: excellent service: food is excellent but it is a very heavy meal. If you are eating out the entire week (and if it is HOT) it is best enjoyed at the begining of the vacation. (IMO;) )
Whispering Canyon: Food was very good: atmosphere was very fun & loud.
Tappen Edo: Never eaten: on my list for June.;)
Coral Reef: This was our families BEST meal for everyone on the past 2 trips.

HTH! :goodvibes

Micears - thank you for your response! It's what I suspected - with this being our first time I didn't take all the schedules into consideration!! I want so bad to fit all the "shows" in that I am having a hard time figuring out when to eat! It if wasn't for the DH & DS I'd skip eating lol!!! Thanks for your help - now I have a better idea of which ADR's to keep & which to maybe cancel!!

Anyone else have any advice??
