PLEASE help! :)

We are booked at POFQ for August, well Southwest just sends me an email (me personally~haha) and has a flight/hotel thing going on but the hotel is CBR...

Here is my delima........ Do I want to change resorts?? It will save me around 100.00 so nothing HUGE but having airfare and hotel together is nice, one bill etc.... BUT~ does CBR have adjoining rooms? We need 2 rooms and at POFQ we're guaranteed adjoining rooms since I booked through Disney......

Ideas? Help? Someone??

I would double check that this is GUARANTEED. From what Disney told me and from what I've read on these boards, you can request joining rooms but you are NOT guaranteed them. If that is true, then switching wouldn't cause an issue. I'd double check. We stayed at CBR and LOVED it. I've read posts regarding larger size groups and people did stay at CBR. Good luck with it all!

Well they told me when I book that because I booked through Disney they would guarantee me adjoining rooms, that's all I know!

Remember ADJOINING rooms mean next to each other, CONNECTING rooms have a door between them!

One more thing to think about - unless SW recently changed the policy, if you book a vacation pkg you cannot check-in on line!

We could have had a fantastic price for the Poly last year, but when we learned about no on line check-in for pkg holders we said no thanks!

Every resort has adjoining and connecting rooms - as brianm27 mentioned, adjoining means next to each ither wile connecting means a door in between the rooms which you can open and walk between rooms without going outside.

Disney does not usually guarantee connecting rooms unless there are more young children than adults. Never-the-less we have had our connecting room request honored 4 times.

CBR is a beautiful and tropical resort - very different than FQ. The main pool is being refurbished until mid/late September, but each village does have a quiet pool - and 2 have added pools - Jamaica is one...cannot remember the other one.

Both are wonderful resorts - but FQ is smaller and very quaint. We love them both.

Have a fabulous stay!

Thank you for the info. I didn't realize about the on line check in. I was just checking my email from work quickly and had that in the mailbox from Southwest. I think I'll stick with my original plan then!!!

Another thing to keep in mind is that the CBR pool will be down for refurb until mid-September.
