please help!!!!!

I booked nonrefundable tickets on spirit air with out going flight at 6:30 am and return flight at 7:45 pm and just recieved email stating the flights have been changed to out going at 3:10 pm and return at 1:10pm. I had ADR thinking I was going to have two full days this has just cut my trip down by almost 2 days. Has anyone had this happen is there anything I can do. I never would have booked If I knew they would change the times so drastically. I am so upset.I just do not what to do!!!!!! I am currently on hold which is where I have been for 20 minutes. :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:
 
I believe that if they change the flights by more than 3 hours, they are 'supposed' to let you have a full refund. Someone else may know better than I do.
 
Most airlines will provide a full refund, upon request, if flight times change substantially (such as more than four hours). The passenger can then book flights on another airline.

Unfortunately, you might find that Spirit Air does not offer the same level of customer service in such cases. At least that was our experience.

About five years ago, my wife had a similar problem with Spirit Air. They cancelled her flights after September 11, and they tried to put her on flights at completely different times that conflicted with her work commitments. Their website said they would offer full refunds for flights that were cancelled after September 11. The first agent cheerfully said that we would get a refund in ten days — but no refund showed up. So we called back. The story changed. A series of Spirit Air customer service reps and supervisors refused to provide a refund. They said that because Spirit still operated a flight between our home airport and the destination airport, her flight wasn't really cancelled by their definition. Some were quite rude, including one who said, "You OBVIOUSLY didn't read the conditions of carriage," when I politely pointed out the what their website said.

They did allow her to travel on different dates because of the September 11 situation, but the whole experiennce of dealing with Spirit Air was quite unpleasant.

I have very low regard for Spirit Air after this experience.
 
Well after being on hold for 20 minutes was told they could check flights on either day before or after but same time. The agent told me she could cancel issue vouchers then send over to account department for possible full refund in 7 to 10 days. She stated due to the fact they changed the time and quite drastcally she sees no reason why the would not be refunded in full back to my CC but I am very leary. I quess if worst come to worse we will just rebook with the vouchers. I will probably end up with a higher flight cost but o well. If not we will continue to look or possible just drive which is what we had planned to do in the first place. We just thought the flight was such a good deal and ended up scaling down hotel for a night because were suppose to arrive so early in am. Sorry so long hopeful we will get our money back.
