Please Help with Trip Planning-Dec. Trip

We are trying to plan a trip Dec. 12th-17th! We have never been in Dec. and mainly want to hit the holiday highlights! We also have never tried to plan such a short trip(we usually spend 8-10days).We are staying at WL and have a ds(7). We are doing MVMCP on the 14th. What I am wondering is: Should we do each park during EMH, how are Dec. hours? Would anyone going in Dec. please share your tentative itinerary? Thanks for any help!

You have picked one of the absolute best times of the year to go!!! Crowds are at a mininum. We have have only used early entry at AK during this time of year and thats only because it closes at 5 and my oldest son loves this park.

I'm not sure if the EMH will be available in Dec so I can't really respond to that question. Sorry.

We try to make max use of our tickets by spending several evenings in Epcot since they do not close unitl 9-9:30. I believe MGM closes around 7-7:30. And the week you have choosen which is the week we're going there are three MVMCP's so the MK will close at 6 on those three days.

Do you know how busy MK is on the days of the MVMCP? Is it doable on those days or should I plan to do MK on a day that won't have a MVMCP? THANKS!

Many of the crowds for MVMCP come from local folks and since it is a separate ticket - I don't see much lessening of crowds on a MVMCP day.

As to EMH - they do have them in Dec and I recommend it for the parks when they close early - AK, MGM and days when MK closes at 6.

Oh is EMH what they are calling early entry now? I thought the EMH was the thing they were doing in the evening this summer.
