I spent hours last night using the search engine to find answers and really didn't find what I wanted, so I'm hoping someone here can help.
DH and I are having our 40th Anniversary Celebration next Feb and are having a celebration in Epcot with appetizers and drinks followed by Illuminations (UK lochside).

We will have 24 relatives that we would like to transport from the Kidani Villas to Epcot, we can all take regular disney buses back but I think it would be better to provide transport over. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
TIA

sounds like fun!

here's one thread that does seem like maybe it will get you some starting points?

there are lots of options to consider from limos/town cars to bus charter and motor coaches to magical express to taxis. i'm not certain exactly whom to contact as most of us would have procured transportation thru DFTW, but i am sure mears (the people who staff disney's bus system and buses in the area) is a good place to start.

i'm guessing from rereading this that this isn't an actual "dessert party" but a group of family/friends all going together to EPCOT to celebrate and see fireworks? if it is a dessert party, your event planner i am sure can provide info! also, you might consider talking to the grand gatherings people - maybe there are some perks your group qualifies for that the people there can help you with?

otherwise, i'd start with mears! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much that is the kind of link I was looking for. :goodvibes

I am booking this throught Disney Catering Services, and am working with Lauren on the details. We're not big dessert people, so we opted to have appetizers and drinks instead.

I didn't realize that my coordinator could arrange for Mears, I thought I would have to do that myself. I think using 2 of the Mears 15 passenger vans would work quite well for us, I'll ask our coordinator about it.

A minibus can hold up to 25 people and you can have it go one way or round trip. One was is $273 and round trip is $321. It might work out cheaper than the vans.

Wow, thanks! I the minibus through Disney, or directly through Mears? The round trip sounds like a bargain, especially because we'll have an older couple, and 7 little ones who are likely to be over-stimulated and over-tired.:goodvibes

It's through Disney (but Disney does contract Mears).
