Please help with this question

Hi ,

I really need to get a answer on this question.
If you have a PS for Cindys or LTT in MK on Xmas day for say lunch or dinner, do I have to get to the park at opening or can I get in nearer to the PS time ???
I ask this because obviously Xmas day will be a zoo and I know the parks reach capacity early.
But to book a PS for the holidays you have to use a credit card to guarentee the booking , so what happens if you show up 1 hr before the PS time but you cannot get in to the MK as its reached capacity?? DO they charge your card as you did not show for the Booked time ??
Do they really expect you to turn up at the MK hours before your PS time and just wait??? Or if you have a confirmed ressie and confirmation number will they let you in.
I will be staying on site as we are DVC members.
I tried to called PS reservations and ask this but to no avail.
I reaaly hope someone can help.

It's my understanding that if you are staying on-site, you are guaranteed entrance into the parks. That's promoted as one of the reasons to stay on-site. I'm sure if this is not the case, someone else here will know.

A PS will not get you into the park. The perk for on-site guests is that they are guaranteed admittance to A park. You will be charged for not showing up regardless of the reason.

I've also read that being a resort guest means you can get into a park even if it is closed to the general public. I bet they (Disney) figure in a certain resort guest percentage when deciding they are at capacity to give the "cushion" for admitting more resort guests.

You might consider contacting someone associated with DVC or posting on the DVC board here to be sure you will get into the park even if it is at capacity.
