please help with this one....

I do a rewards program called "piggybankpennies"

While its easy enough to do. (and the best part I've already been paid once )

the problem in the emails Right now I have a tone of them that I can't get to open up. IM not good with computers so I explaine this as best I can.

Usually theres always a link to click on and this takes you to the ads. Well on this one it says to "click on the link below" but all it is, is two long lines of letters and numbers it starts with

www.piggybankpennies.com and then goes into the numbers and letters. I tried to type all this in the address line but it never lets me finish.

I tried emailing but I dont know if she knows what Im talking about cause she writes back
something like oooops I forgot the link!!!


does anyone have any ideas

I'm far from a computer expert but can you copy and paste the link instead?

To copy you hold down the left mouse button and drag it all along the link or whatever it is that you're trying to copy. It will highlight what is going to be copied.

Then open a new browser window and in the address line do a single right click. Click on paste and what you copied/highlighted will be in the address line. Then you just hit go and it will take you to that ad.

If the problem is that she didn't send the right or full link then that won't work anyhow because it won't take you anywhere.

Like I said, I'm not a computer expert but see if that will work until somebody smarter than me comes along.

Told you I wasn't a computer expert. I forgot to tell you that after you copy the link then you need to right click on the highlighted part and then left click copy so it will get copied.

I understand the first part but how do you "open anew browser window?"

Here's where the computer dummy part of me is really going to show -- I wish I lived by you 'cause I'd just show you how to do it.

What do you use to surf the net - AOL, Internet Explorer? I use Internet Explorer. If I know what you use it will be a bit easier to explain.

For now, let's try this -
do the copy step and in the very upper right hand corner of your screen is a ___ click that and it will minimize the page/screen you are on. Then you need to open a new page -- if you IE then click on the "e" on the bottom tool bar and paste the information in the address line you see. Then to get back to your email jsut click on it from your bottom tool bar. It will restore back to the size it was.

If you don't use IE I'll put my thinking cap back on and see what I can figure out.

I'm really sorry -- I'm better at showing than explaining.
