Please help with my "We've never eaten here" list..

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package) was our favorite hands down from the entire trip. The food was just fantastic, very hot, fresh, service was great...it was awesome. My friends & I had to pull ourselves away from the buffet just to get to fantasmic. We made reservations for it again this summer! :yay:

Cape May dinner buffet - great all you can eat All American buffet, we like it

Donalds Safari breakfast @ Tusker House - have not done this one

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package) - have eaten here in the past, not wild about it.

Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch..did the character dinner & didn't like the food )- we have only done this for dinner, never lunch and enjoyed it for what it was..

1900 Park Fare for breakfast - have not done this

The Plaza @ MK - crowded, food was mediocre and I would not go back ever

Raglan Road - we had great service here, good food and entertainment, we thought it was terrific

Marrakesh - have not done this in a while, but we did enjoy it when there, just no rush to go back

Spoodles - one of my faves on the Boardwalk, we eat there every visit, good food and good service, we mostly do dinners there.

Teppan Edo - we love the food in Japan, have not done this since they have done it over, but on our next trip will be there.. we think it is wonderful.. have some plum wine..

Yak & Yeti - not impressed, the appetizers were good, but the entrees were just awful....the service was very good though... I would not go back, generic

Donalds was a good buffet, but this was back in '99 so cant judge much on that far back

LTT is one of our favs, but only eaten dinner there, never had lunch. May have to give that a try sometime.

Marrakesh, twice we have eaten there. Our first and last time. It was so so. I would try Boma instead as you get a lot of the same flavors but a lot more choices.

Of your choices, we've tried:

Cape May dinner buffet - disappointing. We've been twice and don't plan on returning. The seafood is not very high quality - I imagine someone from New England would be more acutely aware of this than even landlocked us!

Donalds Safari breakfast @ Tusker House good!

Hollywood & Vine (fantasmic dinner package) worst buffet on property

Liberty Tree Tavern (for lunch..did the character dinner & didn't like the food ) great!

1900 Park Fare for breakfast good

Raglan Road LOVED it

Spoodles good but the menu keeps getting smaller

I took my family to Raglan Road on our last trip ... we all had a blast, the ambience was great (even for the kids) and the food - while being unique - was very flavorful and hearty.

We visit the Cape May buffet each trip ... I always watch the message boards but never let them sway my opinion ... the clams and mussels are always top notch and the buffet is overall wonderful. If I were from New England though, I could connect with your fears of this experience.

Earl of Sandwich is a GREAT choice if you simply want to grab a quick bite that will also serve as memorable. I warn you though - if you go here once, it becomes one of those "Oh my God, we HAVE to get back there ..." kind of places.

Enjoy the fun of planning!!:wizard:

Of the ones on your list, we've only eaten at Hollywood and Vine for our FDP as well. We didn't like it all. The food was mediocre to not good, and the service was average to inattentive. The food was, in my opinion, even worse than a typical Golden Corral. Additionally, the tables were tightly packed together - you really felt like you were eating with the people at the table next to you. The ladies' restroom was also very messy.

Of course, every restaurant has an "off" night, but Hollywood and Vine is the only WDW restaurant to which DH has said "never again".

We prefer Mama Melrose for our FDP. :)

Raglan Road and Spoodles are also on my list to try.

definitely don't miss Raglan Road! We went in January and it was our favorite meal of the whole trip :)

Teppan Edo-- is a japanese place where they cook your food right in front of you. We ate there last Wednesday and absolutely enjoyed it. The filet mignon was great there. Everyone in our party loved the food. My daughter had the kids chicken she is 7 and absolutely enjoyed having her dinner cooked in front of us. She actually ate zucchini (so surprised ) . My son had chicken and shrimp and the other had steak and shrimp. Thoroughly enjoyed will eat there our next trip.

Yak and Yeti- ate there thursday before we left to come home. my sons had the lomein. I had the beef and broccoli delish. my daughter had the hamburger. My dad ate baby back ribs and my mom ate a chicken dish. Food was delicious . It was an unknown to me it was the only place that could accomodate 6 people made the ressie that morning about 7 am.

I was less than impressed with The Plaza. The menu was avg and there was nothing cool themeing wise there. I expected more of something.

Spoodles is absolutely amazing. Definitely the best food we had while we were there. The muscles app and the shrimp linguine were the best meal I have had at DW.

Jennifer here...Darlene's sweetest, most perfect daughter. We went to Plaza once and it wasn't bad. Very small and quiet. It was nice to get a break from the crowded restaurants. The burger was yummy, too! Can't comment on the ice cream because I'm just not a big dessert fan. Not sure how I came from my mother and not like dessert?
Spoodles was yummy, too!! We got there as soon as it opened for lunch and got seated fast and man, it was just good. I got some kind of appetizer break thing. Oh my goodness... GOOD STUFF! The waiter put two little plates behind my daughters head and it looked like Mickey ears..it was a cute cute cute picture! I think my mom and sister enjoyed their meals too. My daughter will enjoy a meal anywhere...she's not picky like her mommy.
My husband LOVES Liberty Tree Tavern. He's into the whole thanksgiving feast thing they had going. Me, on the other hand.. I had some dinner rolls and maybe some of the mac and cheese? I MAY have picked on the turkey, but I only like the dark meat. THey could keep the potatos and gravy and the other typical thanksgiving meal stuff. Not my thing =) My daughter would be highly impressed.
I don't remember this 1900 Park Fare. I know we went to a character breakfast at the Grand Floridian. It wasn't crowded when we were there and the characters spent alot of time with my nephew. Too bad it was our last meal like that! The whole trip he was terrified of them all! Then finally on the last meal, he gave out hugs and kisses.

Mom... if ya see this.... was it 1900 Park Fare? You know how my memory works.
