please help with hotels ?

my dh and i are taking our 4 kids (ages 7,5,3 &1) on April 3 for 2 days. i haven't been to Disneyland since 1990, alot has changed!! this is our first trip as a family. i want a hotel that is near enough for breaks in the middle of the day for naps for the little guys. so many of the hotels say they are right across the street from the main entrance. can anyone tell me which ones actually are? or tell me which hotels we should/ should not stay at for cleanliness and/or other reasons. the ones i'm looking at are.

Best Western Park Pavillion
Tropicana Inn & Suites
Carousel Inn & Suites
Camelot
Anaheim Desert Inn & Suites
Park Vue Inn

i just saw the other post about hotels that included the desert inn. sounds like it's right there. which other ones are right there between DL and DCA?

Here is a map that will give you some idea. You can also click on the links to the hotels and it will take you directly to that hotel's website to get a price quote. With 4 children, you are best to go with Best Western Park Place Inn or Anaheim Desert Inn. That way you have at least 3 beds and don't have to do 2 rooms. It will also give you the room for your little ones to run around in, come back and take a nap and crash at the end of the night.

We just got back from 7 nights at The Candy Cane Inn. I can't say enough good stuff about the CCI. It's right next to the entrance to the parking area for DL and is approx. 800 steps (DD 12 counted them) from the CCI front door to the DL entrance (drop off for hotel shuttles and trams). CCI was extremely clean and rugs, linens and bathroom were newish. Continental breakfast is plentiful and good. Free shuttle and wifi was very useful. Check out the reviews of the DL hotels on Trip Advisor. CCI was voted #1.

fairfield Inn by marriot is clean and in the mc donalds parking lot, very close to maingate.
